X-Men: Evolution announcement expected

According to the nameless website, an official announcement regarding the future of "X-Men: Evolution" is expected to be made by Tuesday. For all of the "X:E" fans, keep your fingers crossed. I am.

I'm not sure if I want it to be picked up or risk the possibility of CN taking it if WB don't.

Whaddaya mean, "risk" the possibility of CN taking it? CN good. CN treat good shows good.

I think he meant that he almost hopes that WB Kids passes on it so CN can pick it up. If CN doesn’t want to produce new episodes, than Evo is finished. That’s the risk. CN would treat Evo a lot better and it would cut down on the censorship of WB Kids.

Hopefully the show will be picked up in general. Fans have waited long enough to find out the fate of this show. I'm starting to like this show, so I want to know too.

Yes, I agree. It's been a long, long wait. I hope that it is renewed.

The series had an excellent finale, let it end with Ascension.

Ditto.

They should just do another X-Men animated series.

Honestly, I saw Ascension as a 'we might be canned so we'll have it be something that can be viewed as a finale or a set up for more things to come'.

I'm with Zombies.....if WB doesn't renew it then CN might and CN would treat it a lot better. But if WB doesn't renew it, CN might not and we wouldn't get any new episdoes. But then again WB could renew it and we would for sure get new episodes but with bad treatment.

That doesn't make sense, surely if it where to stay on the same network, it would be treated the same as it was before?

I think what they're saying is that they're torn between hoping it's renewed at WB as a sure thing, but with the same restrictions due to censoring, etc..

Or hoping that WB turns it down and it has a chance of being picked up by CN where the writers would have more freedom.

I could be wrong though.

Hopefully we'll hear something tomorrow either way. It seems like Evo fans are collectively holding their breath for that announcement.

Yeah, sure.

But CN would treat it like a king.

Not looking good at all...

That other site said that at this point that the show's return is not impossible, but would be "a surprise."

X-Men: Evolution producers Greg Johnson and Boyd Kirkland are supposedly already developing a new series for Cartoon Network.

And I'm guessing that new series is not necessarily X-Men related.

This is definitely not looking good. Please let this change, or the new series to be connected in some way or something. Please, oh please.
