So there's another

I just noticed it says right now that the newest member is Madame Freeman. Freeman happens to be my name too. If she's reading this, pleased to meet you. If not, someone feel free to drop her a line on one of the other boards.

Another pointless reply

I notice that nobody shares my name on this board.

Actually

Madame Freeman and her crew were responsible for flooding and ruining the old Boardhost World's Finest boards, which prompted us to move here. Madame Freeman has been banned from these boards as well. She/he/whatever was badnews, trust me.

There is another Calhoun I know of...but it is spelled K-A-L-H-O-U-N (everybody cry Kalhoun!). It is a CD by one of my all time favorite bands Daniel Amos (and if any of you have heard of them and like them, send me a PM! I'd be awfully surprised if there are other fans of this band on these boards!) Their website DanielAmos.com doesn't allow me to post a picture of the album, but the image can be found at this link:

http://danielamos.com/credits/kalhoun.html

I would have liked to have that image as my avatar, but alas I couldn't copy the picture from the website. I wonder what's up with that!

It's the magic word they claim, came down from ancient Babylon
When the tower of Babel crumbled, and the language was all wrong
The natives were confused and yet, they understood one word
Now it's on display in a mall museum, down in south Pittsburgh

Kalhoun!, everybody cry Kalhoun!

Some preacher says it's the first word, that Adam said to Eve
Religious tracts and bulletins note, "Speak it and believe"
Some say it's just deception, empty and absurd
While the elect say the last times, were triggered by the word

Kalhoun!, yeah everybody sing Kalhoun!
Don't know exactly what it means
It's just a sacred kinda thing - Kalhoun!

Now when carpenters hit their thumbs
They'll yell out loud the "Kalhoun!" curse
And the faithful flock to pa, to bow to Lord Kalhoun the first
He says "Messiah's in the dessert", but a few of us won't go
We're going down to the Kalhoun church, to pray it isn't so

Kalhoun!, is the thing - now everybody sing Kalhoun!
And even the president says it's a miracle
"Kalhoun" the nation cries, "You're a miracle"
On baseball cards, beer, and cars and cereal
Kalhoun is the word, now everybody's heard - Kalhoun!

Some politician has an idea to take a million men
Go downtown Los Angeles and build the tower again
Why nothing can stop us this time, we'll mount the word on high
Spell K-A-L-H-O-U-N across the steel grey sky

Kalhoun!, now everybody sing Kalhoun!
Don't know exactly what it means
It's just a sacred kind of thing - Kalhoun!

Kalhoun! Kalhoun! ...

I was trying to save the cover art to my computer, not the back cover or the insert art. It's not a big deal right now, as I like my current avatar and plan on keeping it for quite a while. But you mean to tell me that you can save those images to your computer? When I right click on them, it tells me that function has been disabled.

Yeah, I was suprised how obvious it was. I think the person just wanted to keep the same name so we'd know who it was. The person is bad news all around

it takes a little bit a work and a little knowledge of html. if you're using internet explorer, just click on the view menu and click view source. then browse the html code for the picture you want. when you find the img tag containing the address of your pic, just copy and paste the address into the address bar and you should see the picture. then you can right click on it and save it and do whatever you want to it

I'm being dumb. I know that, just didn't think to think of it!

I have also gotten pictures by going to my temporaty internet files and saving them from there when they seemed to be impossible to get from the Internet. Where there's a will, there's a way!

Now that bums me. People like her giving Freemans a bad name. She's on my list now. Hope my having the same surname won't affect y'all's opinion of me, WF crew.

And thank you, Dick Grayson; I'm quite flattered. Calhoun, I agree with you.

I agree! These are definatly the best boards around. Everyone "knows" each other and the conversations are addictive and engulfing! The mods are very active in the discussions and they're figgin' nice! The variety here just clenches it!

One person isn't the same as the other. Freeman is a very popular surname; anyone from a brilliant scientist to a notorious convict can have it.
But you are you, and you shouldn't be responsible for the other Freemans of the world.
