Rolling Stone Subscriber Exclusive

In this month's Rolling Stone there are exclusive posters of your favorite (male) Adult Swim characters. The library that I direct just got the issue in (the one about American Icons) and it has a large poster of Bender (in a pair of leopard-print briefs!) smoking a cigar. I'm not sure if it's one each issue or random, but on the back of the poster I saw that you can also get Carl (in Strip Poker mode) Cap'n Murphy reclining by the dolphin tank or Harvey Birdman in the nude with a strategically placed book (and a picture of Boo Boo on his desk.)

They all give the air of Playboy centerfold, if you did get that from my descriptions...

So keep an eye in your neighbor's mailboxes!

Sounds... intresting (In some weird sexual showing of Adult Swim comedey advertising sort of way). I will try to find the Rolling Stones Issue with this in it (since I don't order the magazine) just to see what exactly else is in this... weird sexual showing of Adult Swim comedey advertising

Sounds funny. Good way to advertise.

Have a feeling this will go with Shake air fresheners and Meatwad stress balls on the "Adult Swim crap you can buy on eBay" list.

I saw the commercial again later that night except she was lying down when she became invisible so it made it look mch more sexy (excuse my language)! Yes, it had the sparkle format and everything! The thing is, I don't remember the point of the commercial, I think itwas just her disappearing. Anyone ever seen it?

Hah! Now all they need is Brak's Dad and Coach McGuirk.

That's too bad. Brak's Dad would seriously go for that sort of thing!

They should put Alexander the Great in there too...

Ha, guess I shouldn't have let my Rolling Stone Subscription lapse. I hope someone gets scans.

Yeah, I got Carl. It's a cool promo, but kinda....weird? sick? I'm not really sure, but it definitely grabs your attention....and I'm keeping mine. I wouldn't buy one of these of E-bay though, definitely not worth it.

No love for Meatwad!? ;P

Brak's dad would have been funny, since he has a medical condition that forces him to go outside to collect his paper in his boxers and then bend down.

I'm surprised they used Murphy and not Quinn, he's the sexay brotha on that show.

I actually went out and got the issue and saw the centerpiece. You want to know why they aren't using characters like say Meatwad or Dr.Quinn? It's about showing off the most manilest of the ASC characters at their most sexiest they can get (and I don't know about any of you, it really wasn't that sexy at all. More like sickening in a way). It was mainly for comedic purposes rather then something you would actually pin up on your wall or something, but I'm sure all of you knew that, right?

I know, but Quinn and Brak's Dad are funny

meatwad would be hilarious trying to be sexy.

I could see it now

MW: Am I sexy?

Shake: oh I'll tell you what you are you're....

FL: just tell him he's damn sexy and get it over with!

Yeah...I could see Meatwad trying to shape shift into some sexy character...like maybe Ah-nold circa 1979 or something like that.

I dunno, Meatwad was really stretching it with Wayne Gretzky (Samurai Lincoln, what are you smoking?), I'm not sure he can do Arnold without injuring himself.

You know....I was thinking about this...and they should have put Marco as one of the pull outs, since he is clearly the ummm....I think you know what I mean.

We got Harvey at work. Very excited to see something about Adult Swim to hang in my cube...until I saw what the advertising was. I got a laugh with it but it immediately went into the recycling bin.

...very disturbing...
