Other shows making come back, why not HB's Space Cats...?

What do you guys think...? should Space cats make a comeback; maybe as a comedy/action/adventure cartoon..? It was pretty funny in the 80's but was cut shot on ABC thanks to Ted Turner, like another show I know cut in it's prime Thanks alot, Nick

Anyhow, at the time other kids loved it then, and it's long since due a major over haul, besides something that different is guaranteed a great success rate!

it had great jokes, incredible animation and art quality for 1989, and was energy packed!

So who else thinks Space Cats deserves Revamping..?

I remember Space Cats, but it wasn't from Ted Turner (it was from Paul Fusco aka ALF), it didn't air on ABC (it was on NBC), and it didn't air in the 80s (it premiered during NBC's final animation-filled lineup in the 1991-92 season). But it was cut terribly short and funny as hell (the live-action segments with Charles Nelson Reilly as D.O.R.K. were funny to boot). I thought it could have gone at least three or four seasons, but NBC got brainwashed by Peter Engel and the ill-effects of that hypnotism ended pretty recently (last fall to be precise). It certainly deserved more than one season.

A show I'd like to see make a comeback . . . another cat show. SWAT Kats ended WAY too soon, just when it was starting to get good. And I'd like to think that the Tremblay brothers would rather be back on that franchise than their most recent yet ill-conceived project Mega Babies. Of all the shows that Hanna-Barbera produced in the 90s, SWAT Kats is one I'd like to see make a bigtime return.

Well, either that or Dark Water . . . another beautifully done show that ended way too soon as well.

Heh, sorry...

I should've re checked my resources before posting this!

Thanks for correcting me though, Jeff!

For some reason all cat related shows are quite funny as heck...
Garfield and friends, Heathcliff, Space Cats (OR good as heck) like Thunder Cats and Swat Kats

Well, "Space Cats" does not seem that popular, at least I never heard of it. Therefore, I could not hope for it to be revived.
