Draftee Daffy
Slightly war-themed. An old man from the draft board breaks into Daffy's house and tries to take him. Daffy Duck hides in many places, but is always found. The duck thinks he has it made when he locks the man in a safe. He is sent down to... and sees the Devil. It turns out that the devil is actually the draft man! The ending line is the famous "Well now, I wouldn't say that!"

The Hare-Brained Hypnotist
As a common cartoon on CN, we are lucky to still be seeing the AAP print. Elmer Fudd uses hypnotism to transform a bear into a canary bird. Bugs Bunny makes Elmer Fudd think he is a rabbit. That doesn't work very well, because it makes Elmer crazy. At the end, Elmer Fudd returns to normal, while Bugs Bunny is convinced that he's a B-19, and goes to the airport.

Zip Zip Hooray
One of the two edit-down cartoons from The Adventures of the Roadrunner. This is a very good cartoon for one main part. Wile E. Coyote finally explains why he is chasing the roadrunner (a scrawny bird). He explains the different parts of the Roadrunner, and how they would taste to him. The opening title displays both a 1962 and a 1965 copyright.

Yankee Doodle Daffy
Porky Pig needs to get to an appointment. He gets in the way of "talent agent" Daffy Duck. Throughout most of the cartoon, Daffy prevents Porky from doing what he wants to do, leaving. Then, Daffy Duck turns out to be the pilot on an escape airplane. Porky jumps up in a parachute, with Daffy close behind. Porky runs down the stairs. This cartoon has an unexpected ending. When I first saw it, I thought Porky would end the cartoon at his appointment.

Little Boy Boo
The title spoofs Little Boy Blue. This is one of the four WB cartoons to feature the annoying boy genius, "Egghead Junior" (possibly the son of the 1930s Egghead ) Foghorn Leghorn has no success trying to raise that boy. Miss Prissy insisted on Foghorn doing that to earn her respect. Foghorn Leghorn had previously wanted Miss Prissy's love to keep him warm, but now he has his bandages to keep him warm.

Muzzle Tough
An odd title for a Sylvester-and-Tweety cartoon. The title could be a spoof of Muscle Tough? Granny moves into a new house with Tweety, causing Sylvester to chase Tweety in that area and use disguise. There is a funny part towards the end. Sylvester dresses up as a dog, hoping to attack a real dog. Before that can happen, Sylvester is snatched up by the dog catcher. He takes off his costume and reveals that he is a cat. The other dogs in the truck start attacking him.

An odd title for a Sylvester-and-Tweety cartoon. The title could be a spoof of Muscle Tough?

Nope -- it's Friz Freleng returning to his Jewish roots. The title is a play on the yiddish word "Mazeltov" which is a toast of good will and thanks said at Jewish events. I saw the cartoon in a theater in Syracuse once and the title drew both groans and laughs from people who got the gag.
