Well Whaddaya Know..... (Smurfs Related)

I'm not sure if anyone else cares (I do since it was probably one of my favorite 80's cartoons growing up), but I was watching Smurfs today.

At any rate, I missed the opening to the 11:00 showing, but at the 11:30 Eastern showing, it looked like Cartoon Network restored one of the openings to the original NBC Saturday morning seasons instead of using the always overused "Smurfs Adventures" syndicated USA openings. ^____^

Does anyone remember the Smurfs opening with Baby Smurf opening the locket on Puppy and then several clips showing? It also incuded Scruple, Gargamel, and Azrael (in which Papa Smurf turned them into frogs) as well as the Sea Witch/ Sand Witch (cant remember) at the very end, and had the Smurflings and Grandpa Smurf in it. That was the one they showed today. ^___^

Maybe it was only a one time thing, but if only they'd restore the rest of the Classic Smurf openings and the lost final season. I think there were several openings and as far as I know, the Smurfs in time season has NEVER aired in syndication. Ah well - I just found that special cause it was so nostalgic to me and brought back many fond Saturday morning memories in front of the TV. I'm through now... ^_^

I caught that opening, too. Warm fuzzies!!!

I love the fact that CN is showing original openings [Flintstones] and ending sequences. Not to mention the fact that they keep the "bumpers" in the animé shows during Adult Swim.
