It'll also be years before the whole legal fiasco with Macross/Robotech is cleared up...if ever.

Why do you say that? Because everyone else does? NGE's content is overrated, it could, and will, air on AS rather easily. Australia is proof of that.

I agree with King Koopa NGE could air and I won't be surprised in the Winter of 2003 ASA gets this Schedule

Yu Yu Haskoho <sp>

Cowboy Bebop or Trigun

Z Gundam or Mobile Suit Gundam continued

Neon Genesis Evalegion

Teknoman

Robotech/Macross

ROBOTECH

Robotech/macros by FARRRR

I remember being in elementry school and walking home really fast so I could come home by 3:30 to watch robotech on cartoon network. I forget if it was toonami or if it was still just the 15 minute cartoons block with no real name.

God I hate how EVA's content is overblown. There's like 3 shots of extreme violence and it's all mech violence, there's no nudity except a butt crack in episode 5 and some barbie doll crap that can easily be clouded over,it flashes by so fats you can't make it out anyway, and sex is nothing you wouldn't see on Dawson's creek, and Buffy is more religiously offensive.

That sounds right, but I don't know if they'd replace Cowboy Bebop yet, and Trigun is extremely likely. I don't know about Teknoman, but other than that it sounds extremely likely.

Actully Teknoman is Tekkaman in Japan to be correct and I think it should be on ASA unedited. Any Gundam would be great also on ASA. I just like giant mobile suit or robot blasting away each other or beating the crap out of each other with a good cast of charaters.

No it won't. And it's not because of the content, which is a factor too, but because of the lega bickering over the show. Watch. TNN will buy it and use it for their own adult animation block.

TEKNOMAN

Isn't that some really old anime? I think I might have caught an episode of it before.

Yes Teaknoman aired on UPN along with Sailor Moon and Battletech around 1995. Unlike Sailor Moon the other two shows were never given a second chance but Teknoman was under Saban Entertainment at that time so Disney now owns it so chances of it coming ever to Toonami or ASA is slim now that I think about it but maybe through some miricle. This page maybe could explian it better than me. http://anduin.eldar.org/~brad/anime/teknoman/

They need to run the entire UC Saga in sequential order:

Mobile Suit Gundam
Mobile Suit Gundam: 08TH MS Team
Mobile Suit Gundam: 0080
Mobile Suit Gundam: 0083
Z Gundam
Gundam ZZ
Char's Counterattack
Gundam F91
V Gundam
G-Saviour

Some of those I believe aren't even dubbed though. Hopefully, they'll be dubbed soon. Then they need to run the UC Saga continuously on MR or somthing the summer of 2004.

Prove it

Every time I hear about the so called Gainax-gag order against censorship I always say "show me a site" and never get one.I am 100% completely convinced that this BS is made up by fans.I ahve yet to see an officialy Gainax site saying that no show can air censored.Anotehr thing is in Japan, the TV series was censored. The EVA-03 fight was trimmed a little, and later on in the series they darkened the light to hide Asuka's breasts when she's in the tub.Plus WOWOW aired the movies and took out a few of the more violent images from the fight scene.Even so,I truly believe EVA can get by with a TV-14.If Buffy can,EVA can.

Here's something bizarre...

How about "Dual"? It's a nice combination of mechs and Tenchi, and not many people in the US seem to know what it is. I think that whatever they bring in, it should be something that Americans wouldn't know very well, like they did with "Yu Yu Hakusho" and "Big O".

Everything after 0083 isn't dubbed. I say that the main series' should be shown, from MSG to V Gundam.
