Actually the new promo seem to indicate that, besides this episode, the next 3 episodes will on Wednesdays nights as well.

Looks like this is going to be that huge, epic battle I've been waiting to see since this show started. Here's hoping the promos have been accurate!

Glad to see them on Geonosis and glads to see a 4 part story-arc, Ki-Adi Mundi should be a good addition to the show (CGI wise).

Not bad. I couldn't really get into the episode, as I was taking care of my little brother at the same time, but it was a good one. They certainly didn't exaggerate the scale of the battle. My jaw pretty much dropped during that opening scene with the armada of Star Destroyers coming out of Hyperspace. The gunship deployment scene was cool, too. It's about time we got to see some more high-intensity larty combat action. And the ground battle didn't disappoint, either. The Geonosian cave sequence was done fairly well. I liked the 212th troopers' new recon armor. Camoflauge and yellow highlights made for a good combination.

I wish Ki-Adi-Mundi had gotten a bigger role, though. But this is going to be a four-parter, so I'm sure we're not done with him yet.
Next week should be interesting. Barris Offee finally gets a major speaking role, and Ahsoka gets to interact with a fellow Padawan, rather than being ordered around by experienced Jedi again.

Waxer and Boil are back!

Anybody notice the bit of gallows humor when a clone on a gunship comments that "the bugs can't aim" ...and they are then immediately shot down quite violently.

If the animation has improved this much from season 1 to season 2.... then what's season 5 going to look like? O.O

This one gets Five Death Stars out of Five.

This is definitely the kind of episode this series needed. It was very good though I still cringe at some of the dialogue the action scenes more than made up for it.

There weren't kidding with this being a really intense episode. The numerous impacts of the Jedi transport ships going down were very jarring. And the amount of laser fire going through or bouncing off of light sabers was surreal. And so many bugs and clones going down violently... wowza!

Favorite part: Prior to the wall being blown up, instead of telling Rex to jump off, Anakin uses the Force to throw him up out of harm's way! Love Rex's reaction, too.

Well, they definitely kicked it up a notch. This is what I had thought Clone Wars was gonna look like from the get-go. Better late than never though.

Heh, this episode is getting more discussion on the SWRPG forums than here? Crazy.

I liked the episode (after watching it a second and third time), but I still think the Battle Wall™ that Anakin and Ahsoka had to contend with was... Lame. That's time I would rather they have spent on Obiwan and his encircled troops (which were some very good scenes, even if Kenobi's gunship down "five klicks east" turned out to be a hundred meters away...).
