Transformers: Animated- "S. U. V.- Society of Ultimate Villiany" [6/7]

Episode 24
"S. U. V.- Society of Ultimate Villainy"
Premieres Saturday at 10:30 AM
Encores Sunday at 11 AM

Starscream managed to get the stun cuffs off and escape the Autobot Elite Guard. Meanwhile Prowl had been given a test weapon from Ratchet, one which made him overconfident and led to him joining Lockdown to defeat Starscream once and for all. Both of them ended up being used though as Starscream revealed he could now make clones, and he set the first two to self-destruct. Prowl willingly gave up his upgrade items, which made him Samurai Prowl, to make sure they would self-destruct in space

The villians of Detroit are out in full force. Nanosec, Angry Archer, and Professor Princess are receiving help from the mysterious Slo-Mo. Slo-Mo's informant is more than meets the eye though, and a group known as the S. U. V. will give the Autobots the most difficult challenge they've ever encountered.

Meet your Autobots:
Optimus Prime: Optimus is the leader of the Autobots that have crashed on Earth. He attended the Autobot academy, but Ultra Magnus made him leader of a salvaging team since he believes Optimus isn't programmed to be a hero.

Bumblebee: Bumblebee may be a young bot, but he has speed and is willing to serve. He worries about having never been programmed for actual battles, but he believes his speed will allow him to overcome any obstacle.

[ Bulkhead: Bulkhead is strong and ready to bust through must challenges with his strength, but he tends to get stuck on the simplest tasks from being too overaggressive. When he tries to adapt others strategies though, he finds he isn't of much use, so crushing everything in his path seems to be the way to go. Many people like to compare Bulkhead to Thing from Fantastic Four.

Ratchet: Ratchet is a veteran from the previous war, and he's always ready to assist his friends when they are in danger. He has great repair capabilities, but he is also known as being senile.

Prowl: Prowl is silent, but he is also deadly. He usually strikes without any warning. Prowl carefully watches everyone on Earth and is trying to adapt their most deadly skills, even if it's being as silent as a cat.

The Decepticons that appears :
Megatron: This Decepticon leader has been watching the Autobots heroics as a head, but now the AllSpark has restored his body. He's ready to test his new powers against the Autobots and Starscream, but will he succeed at destroying all his enemies?

Swindle: This Decepticon can sound like any human and typically communicates to them in secret, but he believes ni Megatron's objectives and is willing to distract the Autobots at all costs.

And, of course, the humans.
Sari Sumdac: Sari Sumdac is a young girl armed with a key powered by the All Spark. She's decided to help the Autobots train to become heroes. After her father's disappearance, Sari inherits the company for a short time, but a shocking revelation is about to change her life forever.

Captain Fanzone: Captain Fanzone is the chief of Detroit's police, but he isn't a fan of robots. He questions what the Autobots true intents are, but he also recognizes they can help him when the situation calls for it.

Angry Archer: This
archer claims to be a modern day Robin Hood, but his belief is that he is the only poor around. Once the Autobots arrived, he found that his ways in crime were to be cut short, so he's willing to do anything to make them once again the old ways.

Nanosec: Originally Neno Sexton was just a regular thief, but Megatron proivded him with equipment that would make him one of the fastest beings around. The only problem was it had some side effects and also altered his age. Technology has managed to restore him to his original form, and now he wants to give the Autobots another run around.

Professor Princess: Just because she likes pretty and pink doesn't mean she is very trustworthy. She believes that all things should be girly, so she hates the Autobots and is willing to make any alliance that will get rid of them once and for all. This also leads her to hate things like Arcade games and arrows.

Slo-Mo: This new human villian may appear to be gorgeous, but she is the worst nightmare for all machines. She has a clock that is powered by an AllSpark fragment, and she is willing to use it to slow down all machnies, including the Autobots.

Next week
Episode 25- "Autoboot Camp"
After an episode of being basically on his own, Bumblebee is given the assignment to track down an Autobot traitor. This leads Bumblebee to think of his past, including how he first met Bulkhead in Autobot Boot camp.

So we get a week off from the Decepticons. Professor Princess sounds like a Princess Morbucks ripoff.

So much for the Decepticons taking a week off. Can't say I am not glad, I thought it was going to be a filler, so glad to be wrong.

I really sense something going on between Nanosec and Slow-Mo. They make a accelerate pair.

Nanosec (Speed) x Slow-Mo (time)= Accele-romance.

I'd never expect Fred Willard of all people to voice a Decepticon. But he did a good job here. (Personally I thought it would be Powell who'd be the primary financial backer but I guess not)

This wasn't as bad an episode as I thought it would be, especially with most of the human villains coming back.

Not a bad episode. I really like what was done with Swindle. I never cared for him in G1 but I like him in TF:A.

Awesome episode which the whole awesome villain gathering formula,

Nice return of the human supervillains which Nanosec & Professor Princess are my favorites.

Slo-Mo is one gorgeous awesome supervillainess who's my favorite which she talks fast like a reporter & I love her motives on machine-bashing by making them slow. I thought that slimeball Powell was the one who organized the supervillain gathering since he had Headmaster, but she's more better & more evil than that worthless loser.

Nice for Sari to use Sumdac's robot to call that stupid jerk Powell a booger head which was funny.

Swindle is my next favorite new cool Decepticon which I'm shocked that Fred Willard voices him who's best known for voicing Boogieman(Billy&Mandy) & Jack Hench(Kim Possible season 4).

Damn, Tara. You had to go and do not one, not two, but three different characters in one episode (Sari, Professor Princess and Slo-Mo)!

As for Swindle, great villain. Let us hope that if he gets reactivated by Megatron before he gets stripped or auctioned off, that he doesn't bring in the rest of the Combaticons onto Earth (which could be a great idea anyway)

Slo-Mo with her southern drawl certainly showed she has some brains when she has the technology, but thanks to her greed she let Swindle steal the prize, and the Autobots have collected yet another fragment to help them in the upcoming war. While I do expect we'll see Swindle again, especially if they get another season, I'm actually glad to see that Professor Princess finally got some character development.

Southern drawl? Naw, I think she was meant to be an homage to films from the 30's/40's. If you watch any of those old films, you'll notice actors/actresses rapidly deliver their lines just like Slo-Mo. You'll also notice that a lot of their senteces end with"see", see.

While I think Fred Willard did a good job on Swindle's voice acting, but I could never divorce Fred Willard from the character which took away from the portrayal. Other than Willard this episode was pretty bad.

The Autobot's personality change way too much from episode to episode. Also if your going to do an episode where Bumblebee learns the lesson of team work three weeks ago how do you have another episode where he just disobeys orders for no reason. They need to do a better job of setting up these solo spotlight instead of the Autobot disobeying orders.
