Can someone identify this cartoon?

All I remember is a scene with two characters. There is a large, lazy dog and a little feisty cat. The cat does everything he/she can to get the dogs attention. The cat scratches up the fur on his back and pulls his ears but the dog never flinches.

If I remember correctly, the owners of the dog introduce the cat as a new pet at the beginning of the cartoon...

I'm pretty sure it was a Warner Bros piece..

Anyway, any help would really be appreciated. Thanks

It sounds a little like "Feed the Kitty" except the owner doesn't know of the kitten's existence, and only at the end does she tell Marc Anthony (that's the dog's name) that he can keep the kitten as a pet.

That is it! Do you know where I can get a copy of that? Can I rent it?

I'm sure it's gotta be on one of the Looney Tunes laserdiscs ... but who has a laserdisc player these days other than Looney Tunes collectors?

It's aired during The Acme Hour on Cartoon Network from time to time. I even saw it in a movie theater which had a two-hour collection of classic WB cartoons showing on the big screen! (I was the only person there, so it was like a personal screening! ...but how could I resist the opportunity to see the cartoons as they were meant to be seen?)
