Sisters in Fire (A Teen Titans Fic)

Ok guys. Here's my newest fic. Here's the prolouge, which despite already being posted in another thread, is being posted. Enjoy!

"Tri...gon." The girl muttered.

A woman walking by her cell heard her. She punched in the acces code, and entered her cell.

"Hawk?" The woman said. "Are you all right?"

"Tri...gon." Hawk muttered again. "Tri...gon."

"I'm going to get you help." She said.

The woman rushed out, and came back with 2 men dressed in white uniforms.

"Tri...gon." Hawk mutttered.

A man walked forward slowly, and pulled down her hood. He gazed at her face. It was pale as the moonlight. Her bright indigo eyes were shrouded by a red shade. Her jet-silver hair shone in the moonlight.

"Tri...gon." Hawk muttered once more.

"Another man walked up next to her holding a syringe filled with a clear liquid.

"Hawk, this will help you sleep." He said.

"Tri...gon." She said.

The man inched the needle towards her neck.

Hawks head drooped down, and her face was facing the floor.

"Hawk, sit up." The man said.

"He is coming." She muttered.

"What?" The man asked.

Hawks head shot up revealing four blazing red eyes. A chill of wind swept through the cell.

"HE IS COMING!" She screamed.

Hawk lunged forward, and ran out of the cell.

Chapter 1





The sun emerged early in the morning, sending its magnificent rays over the horizon of Jump city. Raven’s eyes opened at the sight of the sun. She sat up in her bed and stretched. She stood by the side of her bed, and pulled on her blue cloak. She smelled food downstairs, and she heard her stomach growl. For one of the first times she could remember, she was actually hungry. She pulled on her boots and walked downstairs. When the doors slid open, the Titans were revealed. Cyborg and Beast Boy had their faces right in front of the closed microwave.



“Man, I mean it!” Cyborg yelled. “If your tofu so much as TOUCHES my bacon and eggs, you are dead meat.”



“Well same goes for your food!” Beast Boy shot back. “Grease Ball.”



“What did you call me?” Cyborg yelled.



“You heard me!” I called you a-



By then, Raven had tuned out. She placed a piece of bread in the toaster and poured a glass of boiling water for her herbal tea. The toaster popped. She placed her toast on a small plate, and sat down at the table.



“You guys won’t believe this.” Robin said.



“What has happened?” Starfire asked curiously.



“Some girl named Hawk broke out of a correctional facility downtown. They say she’s on the loose, and could be dangerous.”



The name Hawk triggered something in Ravens mind. Memories of some sort. The name rang in her head. Then, a specific memory rang out.



“I will not allow you to harm her!” A woman yelled. It was her mother Arella.



“Out of my way!” A demon yelled. It was Trigon.



Arella held a small girl with jet silver hair.

“Never!” Arella yelled.



Trigon struck Arella, and she fell to the ground. Trigon then picked up the small girl.



“Hawk…” He muttered. “Into your soul, I place my fury!”



Raven dropped her tea mug, and it shattered on the floor. Everyone looked at her.



“Raven.” Robin said. “Is everything okay?”



“Just fine.” Raven said.



Raven stood up and walked out of the room. Raven walked to her room. When she entered, she immediately shut and locked the door.



“It’s not possible.” Raven said. “It just can’t be.”



“Raven?” A voice said outside her door.



Raven opened her door only slightly. It was Beast Boy.



“What do you want?” Raven spat.



“You just seemed kinda freaked out. I just wanted to make sure you were okay.” Beast Boy said.



“Just…fine.” She muttered.



She shut her door, and Beast Boy walked away. Raven sat on her bed. She closed her eyes, and saw the familiar face. Trigon, her father.



“Raven…” He said in her head. “My daughter, Come to me.”



“NO!” She yelled. “GO AWAY!”



His laughs rang in her head. They faded, and he seemed to disappear. Raven breathed deeply, and felt her pulse. Her heart was beating quickly. Her face was drenched with sweat. She was soon overcome with a feeling of fatigue. She looked at the ceiling as her vision blurred, and she fell into a deep sleep.

wow that was neat. i liked it a lot. well now we know a little more about Hawk. i assume that Hawk is Raven's sister. but my assupmtions are more often worng than they are right. so yeah more soon!!

Wow. So many replies. Thanks so much guys. I've made a pact to make sure all chapters are at least 1,000 words. That was about 500 or so. I'm so glad you guys liked it. I'll get next chapter out maybe tonight, or maybe tommorow.

Chapter 2

As Told By Hawk


Memories consumed me. I couldn’t think of anything to do but run. I had run for almost 3 miles now, and I was beginning to tire. I saw a group of large SUV’s about 200 feet behind me, so I decided to turn at the next corner. I turned, and saw a long alley. I had no other options. I leaned against the wall and looked down. There was a rat glaring up at me. I remained silent. I couldn’t make any noise. I could hear the cars approaching. I held my breath.



2 of the 3 cars passed by, but one stopped right by the alley. A man walked out holding a flashlight. He flicked it on, and was waving it back and forth looking for me. He would find me. I only had one choice.



I threw my hood on, and covered my body with my cloak. A sound of wind rushing was heard and I disappeared. My cloak had the power to make me invisible. God forbid how many times this cloak has saved my ass. The man pointed the flashlight right at me. I could see the light through my cloak. For some reason, I could still see the cloak, but he couldn’t.



“Nothing here.” The man yelled to the car.



Another man looked out and agreed.



“Let’s go.” He said.



The other man nodded and got into the car, and they drove off.



I let out a sigh of relief as I pulled off my cloak. I pulled down my hood and looked out into the street. I saw a giant tower shaped like a T. I had been locked in the correctional facility for so long that I can barely remember what it is, or who even lives there. I think it was called Titans Tower.



I pulled my hood back on, and began walking down the street. Then, I heard a yell.



“Hey you! Don’t move!” Someone yelled.



I gasped and ran forward as fast as I could.



“Stop!” He yelled.



“Get away from me!” I said stopping. “I will hurt you if I must.”



The man pulled out a gun. I had been tranquilized so many times that I recognized it as a tranquilizer. My cell negated me powers so I couldn’t use them in the facility, but out here there was no such rule.



“Azarath Metrion Zinthos!” I yelled.



A car lifted into the air and dropped right above him. The man dove to the ground, hardly missing the car. He fired the tranquilizer. It hit me on my arm. I let out a yell of pain. I felt the liquid flow through my body. Everything became hazy and distorted. I tried to stay up. I was able to levitate a wooden box. I fired it at the man, and it knocked him down again. He fired again. This time it hit me in the neck. It hurt so bad. I fell to the ground and saw I was right on the edge of the land and the ocean. I could see the reflection of Titans Tower in the water. If I could just make it…



I slowly stood, and jump kicked the man. He flew backwards and dropped his gun. I levitated it, and it cracked in half. I can’t fly, so I had to levitate a small metallic platform. It lifted and went under me. It levitated me to the land around the Tower. I looked up and levitated over to a window. I looked inside and saw a dark room. There was a figure lying on the bed, but I couldn’t make out who it was. The room was creepy. It had lanterns hanging from the ceilings and there were spell books scattered around. I opened the window slowly, and crept in as quietly as I could. I shut the window and crept over to the bed. It was a girl. She had a red gem on her forehead and violet colored hair.



I reached up onto my forehead and felt it. Right where her red gem was, I had a blue sapphire on mine. Is it possible? My sister had a red gem on her forehead. I looked at her, and then at me in her mirror. We looked identical. It couldn’t be possible. I reached for her forehead and felt the gem. Before I could come to a conclusion her hand shot up and grabbed mine. She jerked awake.



“Who are you and what are you-“



Raven cut herself off.



“Raven?” I said.



“Hawk?” She said.



I smiled and hugged her. I couldn’t believe it. I had found my sister. But she was more than my sister. She was my twin.



As Told By Raven



Is this possible? How did she find me here? Twin instincts I guess. What would the Titans say if they knew I had a twin?



“Hawk, how did you get here?” I asked.



“Well, I broke out of the correctional facility and-“



“Correctional facility?” I said. “Why were you there?



“The people here thought I was crazy because I was preaching about Trigon.” Hawk said. “You know, our father?”



I didn’t even want to think about Trigon. I just hated him so much.



“Look Hawk, you need to-“



I was cut off. Hawk’s eyes drooped.



“T-t-Tranquilizers.” Hawk muttered.



Hawk fell to the floor unconscious and I smiled. I’ll worry about it all in the morning. I grabbed a book and began reading.

Okay, first, you take my idea and use it (but at least you said it was originally mine).* Then you give us all this information about how Raven has a twin, but then you give us a stupid CLIFFHANGER!!!

WHY MUST YOU TORTURE US SO??!?!?!?!?!?!

Oh well, I'll get over it. Eventually. That was a great chapter, Raven has a twin... Raven has a twin....

Can't wait for more!

Thanks Crowgirl. I really appreciate the feedback. My main goal is to see If I can get a good enough fic to get at least nominated at the next Hall-of-Famer thingy, but I seriously doubt it.

I will have more tonight because I'm sick, stuck at home, and have nothing better to do. Day 2 missing school, DAY 9 BEING SICK! I HATE IT! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! *Screen pops up and says "Please Stand By, Technical Difficulties"*

That was an awesome chapter!!!!! I liked the fight with that cop, it was very detail and I thought for sure that Hawk was going to be unconuious but she did not . So i see that Hawk is very strong, mentaly and phiscally. Loved the chapter keep writting!!!!!!!!!!

Chapter 3



As Told By Hawk



I woke up at about 7:30 AM according to Ravens clock. We didn’t have clocks in the institution, so it’s a new thing with me. I sat up, but laid right back down after I felt a searing pain fall through my head. It hurt worse than the shots at the institution. I looked to my right and saw 2 blue boots and someone’s legs. I strained and looked up farther. It was Raven. She extended her hand to me and I took it. She pulled me up and I tried to stand. I wobbled, but maintained my balance after a few seconds.



“Look Hawk.” Raven said. “I’m part of a team called the Teen Titans. We’re a group of superheroes who fight evil in this town. I don’t know if you’ll be able to stay. You’ll have to get the teams permission.”



I nodded.



“Let’s go downstairs.” Raven said. “It’s time for breakfast.”



Breakfast out of the penitentiary. They only fed us stuff that was drugged to make us think everything we thought was a lie. I hardly ate and I was able to hold onto my memories of my father. Raven and I walked downstairs together and entered the main room. It was huge! The TV was at least 50 times the size of the one at the institute. They had stoves, a refrigerator, a couch, chairs, it was all amazing! I looked around and saw 4 figures staring at me. I suddenly felt nervous. I was scared. I almost wanted to just pull my cloak over myself and disappear. I parted my hair out of my eyes and looked from one to the other. One was a girl with bright green eyes and long flowing red hair. She wore a purple shirt with high purple boots. Second was a short, green boy. He had short green hair and a black and purple body suit. Third was a large robot. Wait, he wasn’t a robot. He seemed half human too. What do you call those again…? Last was another boy. He had spiky black hair and a mask covering his eyes. He wore a red body suit with a yellow R at the top right corner. He wore tight green pants and black boots.



“This is Hawk.” Raven said.



Thank God she spoke first. I couldn’t get the words out.



“We’re…twins.” Raven said.



All the Titans eyes grew wide with surprise. The girl with green eyes had a look of pure joy on her face.



“OH RAVEN! YOU HAVE A TWIN SISTER!” The girl said.



The girl flew forward and hugged me with an air tight hug. I couldn’t breathe. My emotions took control. The girl was surrounded with blue energy and was throw backwards. That’s when I spoke.



“I’m so sorry!” I said. “I can’t control my emotions.”



“So she’s like you Raven?” The boy with black hair asked.



Raven nodded.



“May I know your names? I asked.



“I am Starfire.” The girl with green eyes said happily.



“Cyborg.” The robot said.



I’m Beast Boy.” The green one said.



“And I’m Robin.” The boy with black hair said.



I felt a little bit better now. I knew who these people were now.



“So what can you do?” Beast Boy asked.



I felt almost insulted. I was asked that so many times by people who came into the institution. I knew he didn’t mean any harm. I answered him.



“I can do everything she can except fly.” I said referring to Raven.



He nodded, and looked at me, like he was expecting more.



“Oh, and I can do this.” I said.



I pulled the cloak over me, and I disappeared. They all looked around to see if they could se where I was going. No luck obviously. They were missing me by a mile. I went up behind Beast Boy and tackled him. He yelled in fright. I pulled off the cloak and laughed. I actually think I might have some friends now. I had never felt better.



“Is it okay if she stays for a while?” Raven asked, mostly for me.



The Titans looked at each other and nodded. I smiled widely. The sofa lifted and crashed back down. It hit with such force that it knocked us all down.



“My bad.” I muttered laughing.



We all stood up.



“But where can I stay?” I asked.



The Titans only knew one place. Raven grabbed my hand.



“Here, I’ll show you.” Raven said.



The Tower was eerily silent for a while, like I brought up a weird topic. Raven led me to a room that was right by Beast Boy’s.



“Here’s where you’ll stay.” Raven said.



Raven opened the door and revealed the room. It was painted brown and yellow and had small lights all over the walls and ceiling.



“I’ll leave you alone for now.” Raven said.



The door shut, and I was alone. I walked around the room and examined it. The bed was neatly made up. There were shelves and everything. Everything was empty though. I had no belongings, so maybe we could get some stuff later. I exited and walked downstairs. Breakfast was ready. I looked down at the two plates. One was filled with eggs and bacon. The other was filled with a white substance, tofu I think. I grabbed an empty plate and scooped a large glob of the tofu onto my plate. The Titans all gave me weird looks.



“What?” I asked.



“You…Like tofu?” Beast Boy asked.



“Yea. I don’t like meat.” I said. “I’m a vegetarian.”



More weird looks. I shrugged and sat down. I sat next to Raven because I was still a little bit shy. I finished my food after a few minutes and sat my plate by the sink. Right as I sat down again, an alarm went off. The Tower was filled with red light and loud noises. The Titans sprung up and ran to the computer.



“It’s Dr. Light.” Robin said. “Titans GO!”



The Titans ran out of the room. Beast Boy stopped in the doorway.



“Are you coming?” He asked me.



“I’m supposed to?” I asked.



“Why not?” He said. “You’ll have fun.”



I shrugged and ran outside with the Titans, ready for my first fight.

AHH!!! She... likes... tofu...

Other than that, great chapter. I enjoy watching her accidentally do things, like lift up the couch. But I wonder why she was trusted so quickly. Yes, I know the two girls are twins, but after what had happened with Terra, it seems.... awkward.
