And he even colored it!

I just can't express how awesome it is. When I clicked on the thread my jaw dropped. Simply awesome. My words cannot express how awesome this is John!

Your Link joins Spike, Optimus, and Calvin & Hobbes as my favorite sketches. No not sketches, pure art.

Wow, it’s a Delaney sketch colored by John himself! You weren't kidding when you said you would do something special (for some reason the logical assumption that you would color it eluded me). I hope the people at Nintendo see this when they're thinking about what to use as cover art for the next Zelda game, because this is one fantastic sketch. Wait, forget sketch, because this picture is as complete as it could get. Thanks for the amazing pic, John.

Alright! Truly spectacular work! Judging by his proportions, he's Kid Link, but with the very straight and serious expression of Adult Link. And you added tons of nice touches, from the cut on his cheek, the detail on the collar, the very Hylian-type font... and the coloring! Red and Blue abstracts on the side representing Ganon and Zelda, as well as the amazing shading throughout the pic - just very faboo!

And with the Zelda movie supposedly in production, this would be the perfect poster for it!

Question: Are there any patterns or symbols in the stars? Considering how much obvious effort was put into this, I wouldn't be surprised if there's something there I don't see.

I must say, that's the best picture of the Warner Sibs I've seen in a while!

No, seriously, great job. Now, when can we expect the animated movie?

That is just TOO cool. It almost makes me sorry I didn't vote for Link. Glad he won, though.

The starry background greatly reminds me of the German teaser poster for the original Neverending Story movie. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Probably not...

Hmmm. How about Atreyu from The Neverending Story showing up on one of the future polls? I'm a huge NS fan, in case you couldn't tell...if you haven't read the book (which all the movies and animated features were inspired by) I highly reccommend you do.

Link looks fabulous. I'd love to see a Princess Zelda to go along with him.

It's cool how Link is an elf, it's kind of an east meets west concept if you think about it. The picture looks great, I hesitate to call it a sketch. I can't wait to see who's in next week's poll.

I understand that it must be a great tragedy for you that the Warners lost...and an even greater tragedy for me that Daria lost, but you must admit that that is a terrific picture.

FYI: Many years ago, I finished "A Link to the Past" on SNES.

I wanted Jango Fett to win.

instead I got this..this..beautiful thing called a "sketch". *sniff* Maybe if I voted Link I would've feel that I tried to defeat one of the best sketches I've ever seen....

ah, ok. done with that! Sweet sketch Mr. Delaney!
