Thank You!

Nice rendition. The lion face makes him look a lot older and gives the feel he's a very experienced leader. I definitely like the outfit better.

Colin, I take back what I said in the other thread.

Very cool, John. I was wondering if you'd go for a more Lion-like look as soon as the poll was closed. He reminds me a little bit of Pumm-ra from one of this week's episodes. The lion's head makes him look a bit nobler, and definitely more alien.

Well, I didn't vote for Lion-o, but this looks SO much better than the shmaltzy Lion-o of old! Wonderful (as always!) work!

I bet you could even make the dreadful Snarf look good!

Very nice -- he looks very lionish -- more so than he did in the series even. Kind of a mix of Jaga (sp?) and Lion-O. Still very heroic looking, but in a very distinguished way. Very impressive!

Boy is that awesome! I love it! Lion-O looks more like a lion now. Makes me wonder what the other Thundercats would look like in this style.

Great job on the different take for how to draw Lion-O. As has been said, he's definetly more lion-like now. Although I like Lion-O with his human features, this drawing is just so dang cool! Too bad poor ol' Voltron didn't make it.

Thanks everyone!!
I really enjoyed doing this one and I sure am happy everyone seems to like it. I was really just trying to give Lion-O a bit more dignity and a bit more toughness to his design while at the same time honoring some of his cooler design ideas
Thanks again, this one was a challenge
Cheers
John
