I really wish FUNimation would get the Yu-gi-oh license and do a complete redub of the entire series.

Sadly, I think 4kids renewed their licensed till...2012 or so.

That's true. The cards still sell really well, while the anime series hasn't really been that popular since around season three or four of DM. There's also the manga, specifically the GX manga, that has some impressive sales, despite not having the anime series on the air right now.

Even though I still enjoy the 4Kids dub, I wouldn't mind a redub if they used what they could of the original cast. I believe that 4Kids has renewed their license over the franchise until 2015, so they aren't planning on letting it go anytime soon.

Yu-Gi-Oh! R also charted pretty high on the Manga Bestseller List. Even higher than the most recent volume of GX, I believe.

Oh yeah. I forgot that Yu-Gi-Oh! R already released its first volume. I didn't know that it was that high on the list. Considering that the third volume of GX did so well, it isn't too surprising. Thank you for point that out to me.

I'm about ready to give up on 4Kids' video player. Even with it working now, it's such a glitchy piece of crap that takes double the time it should to play episodes that it's just not worth the headache anymore.

I think your computer might not be good enough to run it. It is a little sad their player has such high requirements, but don't blame 4kids, they just expect their viewers to have good computers (to be honest, it isn't bad at all, and runs smoothly, even on the HD channel)

I have a brand new laptop with Windows 7 and high speed internet. I don't know what else they could expect of me.

then it must be the videos you are watching. Either they have much higher traffic, or just aren't set up well due to less traffic.

Well I have to admit, nice to have 4kids let TMNT go out with a bang.

TMNT 2k3:

2003-2009.

It was a good run.

Wow! CyberCubed is actually happy for once. I kid, I kid...

It appears the server at www.4Kids.tv is overloaded now, perhaps due to the airing of Turtles Forever. I wonder what the ratings will be like.

And it looks like the "Panik Attack" episode today WAS the merger of the two Yugi vs. Panik episodes.

it was weird watching it, since i much more liked the 2 parts seperate, but the fact that the merger only aired once before compensates. Not only that, but that song I have heard isn't available even on CDs.

You know. They should do the "Popcorn for breakfast" at least once a month. It would help the ratings and business if they put their own original movies up like they did with Turtles.

Actually, the merged episode has aired many times while the two separate parts only aired once on 4KidsTV in January 2007.

Yes, GoGoRiki is off the schedule for the time being.

Well, that is sad that they couldn't seem to air it faithfully, although back in 2002 or so, I remember watching a two parter, IDK if it was this one or the Weavil episodes.

The Weevil and Panik episodes initially aired on Kids' WB! as merged episodes, but they were released to DVD in their full format. The seperate episodes aired only 4Kids TV in late '06/early '07 (though episode 5 did air in its entirety on The CW4Kids, skipping episode 4). Maybe you saw them on DVD.

And of course the full episodes are online at 4KidsTV.com too.

You know, I was actually thinking about this today and I think it was a pretty good move to splice those two duels together. People are often very critical when anime episodes get skipped or merged - and usually I'd agree - but I'd argue it was definitely a good move for 4Kids/Kids' WB to splice those episodes. Keep the duels short while people are getting use to the show, then when you've got kids hooked, you won't need to merge those 5-part duels together.

Side note: 4Kids.tv is still down. I can't remember the website being out of commission this long ever before.
