So what 7 shows currently on the daily schedule do you enjoy the best, and why?

Please make sure to explain why you like the certain shows that you decide on and make this thread mean something, so many threads turn into "list threads" and nobody gives an explaination as to why they like their shows, I'd like to see what people's motivations are for liking their favorite shows. Well, let's hear em'!

1. Ben 10 Alien Force - This show is one of my favorite shows of the past few years, I love the characters, I love the story and I love the villains in the rouges gallary, just an awesome show.

2. Bakugan - I love the Bakugan series (includes New Vestroita), it's a fun and enjoyable anime that you can just cut loose and watch without having to really learn a whole lot about it, it aso have good animation and a very fun little plot behind it.

3. Chaotic M'arillion Invasion - One of the best series on television and full of action and suspense, great characters and it's one of my favourite aquisitions by CN in quite some time.

4. Batman The Brave and the Bold - This Batman series screams "Fun!" and it is just that, it isn't as serious as the 90's Batman cartoon but it's a thrillride with some action and comedy tossed into a fun little Batman salad. Great show!

5. Chowder - This show is just plain funny and it really represents the network as one of it's best original series in quite some time, and who does not love , his "Radda Radda" makes me roll week in and week out.

6. Bleach - I have just gotten into this show a couple months ago but I have missed a few episodes here and there but I love the action and I love watching it at night, there is just a cool feeling I get on Saturday nights when I watch this that I just cant explain.

7. The Secret Saturdays - I can't wait for the final season, it's going to be soooo good I can just feel it. Fisk and Zak make this show what it is to me and the entire Saturday family is just so cool, I love the really strange episodes we got last season and I hope more are on the drawing board for next season.

Honorable mentions.
Robot Chicken
Star Wars Clone Wars
Superjail
ATHF
Battle Force 5
Yugioh 5D's

1. Starwars The Clonewars: Been a Starwars fan since 1991, it has to be number 1.

2. The Secret Saturdays: As soon as it came out I knew it hit Gold with me, its fun energetic and good storylines.

3. Flapjack: It's humour and creativity made me think of the 90's and deserves a good spot.

4. Krypto The Superdog: Since it returned in reruns to CN i've been dvring it constantly. I loved the idea of the whole Anthromorphic characters of Comic book heroes.

5. Chowder: I've loved Chowder since the first and only has thought its gotten better and better. Sad to see it finish up soon.

6. Pokemon: Battle Dimension Galactic Battles: Its my every Saturday guilty pleasure and I couldnt really follow the last series so I decided to watch this and go into.

7. Chaotic: I remember not quite enjoying on 4kids when it premiered and don't even watch it on CW4Kids just watch it on CN.

Honorable Mentioned
Yugioh 5'Ds
Batman The Brave and The Bold
Hot Wheels Battle Force 5

Well, let's see if I can do this, I'm trying to limit myself to shows that air on Cartoon Network proper, and not Adult Swim.

1. Flapjack- Currently, it's my favorite Cartoon Network original being made and aired on the network right now. I just like the setting, the art, the characters and the stories that every episode has. I really like tales of Pirates and other adventurers near the sea, so when I heard that was what Flapjack was, I obviously needed to check that out. I need to get out and get the 1st DVD for this.

2. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl- Gets me out of bed on Saturday mornings to check it out. I consider the DP arc to be one of the best arcs in the anime right now, what with the Team Galactic, Hunter J, Paul, Barry, some decent gym leaders and battles from theme, and some nice Contests.

3. Secret Saturdays- Has a retro feel to it and is one of the best action shows on the network. The character are really likable and I like how the creator of the series himself is actually a fan of the creatures that he's puts into his show.

4. Total Drama Island/Action- Doesn't matter which one, they're both the same show, just a different title to denote the seasons with. Though I will say that I do like Action over Island for the time being. I just love how it parodies the reality shows genre in the first season, and the movies in the second. Can't wait for Musical.

5. Batman: The Brave and the Bold- Nice take on Batman that combines both comedy and action. It has a nice middle ground between the comedy aspect of the Adam West series and the seriousness of Bruce Timm series. Also, despite not being a big comic book buff, or at least on the DC end, I do like how other DC Superheroes appears from time to time in the episode, makes me want to read up on the comic book hero feature in that episode.

6. Yu-Gi-Oh 5D- Out of all the YGO series, this one rivals the first seven volumes of the Manga as my favorite part of the franchise. I like how it does take itself seriously, and the dub is pretty decent as far as a 4Kids dub goes.

7. Chowder- Despite it's lackluster season 2, I actually do enjoy this show, there are some gems in season 2, but they're suffocated by the stinkers of that season.

1. Ben 10 Alien Force
2. Star Wars: The Clone Wars
3. Hot Wheels: Battle Force 5
4. The Secret Saturdays
5. Batman: The Brave and The Bold
6. Chaotic
7. Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds

My 'why' for all of these boils down to one basic fact: I like action cartoons. I also play and run tabletop RPG's, and any one of these series has characters, plotlines, villains, quotes, or other elements I can steal ... and since nobody else in the group really watches them, I can steal wholesale and not worry about 'Hey, you took that from ...'.

1. Total Drama Island / Action - I just love this show. It is quickly becoming not only one of my favorite cartoons on TV right now, but creeping into my Top 10 all time. It actually made me like reality shows such as Survivor which I thought wouldn't happen. And the adult humor tops off the clever writing.

2. Chowder - I don't understand why people don't like the second season, I thought they were both great and I think I'm one of the few who loves all of the fourth wall humor, even if it overused.

3. Batman: Brave & The Bold - Great to see a new DC Animated show. I love the interpretations of all of both the heroes and villains and I love the writing as well.

4. Secret Saturdays - Unfortunately I've barely gotten a chance to see it, but from what I've seen it's fantastic. Cryptozoology fascinates me so it's nice to see a cartoon about it.

5. Star Wars: The Clone Wars - I actually love what they're doing with the Star Wars universe in this show. This is a really interesting take on it and it's great to see some of the more obscure characters get a chance to shine.

6. Ben 10: Alien Force - The problem I had with this one was no new aliens, but now that they are adding them, it reminds me more of the original series. My only complaint is the one that I've had from the beginning. Why is it always so dark?

7. Pokemon - I love Pokemon even though I haven't gotten a chance to follow it lately. It's just the concept in general so I check what's going on in the series all the time. It will obviously never be as great as it was when it first came out, but it's still Pokemon.

1. Johnny Test - For me, it doesn't get old. Don't know why...

2. Chowder - It's pretty funny.

3. Flapjack - It's pretty silly.

4. Ed, Edd, & Eddy - It's alright, I just have to get back on it before watching the movie.

And that's it.

1. The Secret Saturdays - One of the most consistently entertaining and impressive TV shows in a very long time, which mixes a retro vibe with all the modern sensibilities that are sorely missing in many cartoons today. Well-developed characters, smart writing, impressive animation and art style, witty humor, strong continuity... I have nothing but gushing praise for Jay Stephens' universe and vision.

2. Flapjack - A compelling mix of gutbusting laughs, nautical bravado and (more recently) heartrending emotional pathos. The three-way chemistry between Flapjack, K'Nuckles and Bubbie is pitch perfect.

3. Batman: The Brave & the Bold - This show is pretty decent overall, but it's best episodes -- the ones featuring the Joker, Sherlock Holmes and Bat-Mite (and I need to see Music Meister as well) -- are some of the most sensationally entertaining animated half-hours produced today. This Batman is a refreshing alternative to the increasingly dreary and joyless interpretations which are all the rage nowadays.

4. Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Easily the most impressive CGI TV animation, spectacular battles, and a vast roster of characters with which to explore this crucial moment in the SW timeline; the episodes featuring the clonetroopers and/or secondary Jedi characters are the most interesting.

5. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends - No longer in production, but I'm listing it because it aired it's final episodes this year and was recently airing weekday reruns (up until last week?). One of the most creative and imaginative TV series of the decade; the reason it isn't higher, aside from having already wrapped up, is because Season 6 wasn't really the strongest collection of episodes, other than the enormously gratifying (and Emmy-winning) 90-minute special "Destination Imagination".

6. Chowder - Not a big fan, but I like some of the characters (Chowder, Shnitzel and Panini) and the production design is stellar to look at. The first season seemed to be a whole lot more creative with it's plots and humor than the second season.

7. A tie between all of the Canadian FreshTV acquisitions: Total Drama, 6teen and Stoked. Not an avid viewer of any of them, but I like the clean Flash animation, some of the character designs and (for 6teen and Stoked) solid plots and writing.
