Well, if they're willing to let him do what he wants with Gargoyles why NOT go back to them?

I think Disney has been pretty good to Greg. He clearly has no hard feelings towards Disney from interviews he's given. I that list actually shows that Disney let him do quite a bit of work that he enjoyed doing.

A notable historical figure gives his take on TSSM's current situation.

Cute, but a couple notes on things:

-The opera episode winning a prime time emmy (animation at least) is debatable for a couple reasons IMO.

-Kim Possible had a longer stride, had a bigger fan outcry (compare the amount of signatures on their petition to spectacular's, but then again they had 65 episodes to build from) and their second movie scored a record high for them at the time.

I never thought I'd say these words but I totally agree with Hitler.

Oh sure, as if Family Guy and The Simpsons deserve to be nominated every year.

Those shows are seen differently though and are nominated for different reasons. And I don't think its possible for a daytime show to win a primetime emmy.

I'm only thinking about the Best Animated Program - Short Form category, in which both Avatar and Samurai Jack managed to get nominations.

But it's not a daytime show anymore. All of TSSM's US premieres have been 7:30pm at the earliest.

Personally I'd put Opening Night up for an emmy nom. Since it has better animation. And animation quality is a factor they consider in the animation emmy's.

On another note, I read somewhere that Lacey Chabert said she'd be more than delighted in returning if spidey gets picked up for more.

"Opening Night" had the best animation of the series IMO. It was more on-model than any other episode and very fluid.

TSSM deserves an Emmy for one simple reason:
"Is that an Oscar with my name on it? I mean, I'd prefer an Emmy, but...."

Still waiting for Disney XD to order more episodes and it's been theorised that the ratings from the full season (when it finishes airing) will be the deciding factor.

Other than that there's not much else. There's not much we can do except wait, watch the show and buy any SSM paraphernalia (DVDs, Toys, merchandise, etc).

Well thats pretty good news, just the fact that we still have to wait is depressing

Unfortunately i live in Canada and dont get disney XD so ill just buy some figures They just have to continue it though... i might have been a little more accepting with the last episode of season 2 if peter actually ended up with Gwen... but he didnt :/

Eh, I wouldn't worry. This version of Harry is bound to screw it up somehow, though I'm hoping it will be at the end of the first arc in S3 or the middle instead of the end of the season. Weisman's too good to go for a cliche like that.

I am wondering, if Hobgoblin is the S3 Big Bad if they'll try to pull the Ned Leeds AND Daniel Kingsley thing at the same time to try and one up what Norman did to protect his ID.

I really hope Hobgoblin is the big bad for season 3. And Daniel Kingsley probably will be involved, since its kinda obvious he was in Accomplices (along with Roderick, that is).

I doubt he'll be the "big bad" of the season. I'm expecting him to appear near the end, with his storyline extending into subsequent seasons. I could be wrong of course, but why rush into Hobgoblin when there are so many existing story threads that need developing?

Also, Marvel.com has confirmed that Greg Weisman is writing ASM #622. A story focusing on Flash Thompson, no less.

I think that's the closest thing to praise Marvel has ever (officially) given to TSSM!
