the promo for Meus Prêmios Nick 2009, performed by singer and voice actress Jullie (who will co-host the show, with Marcelo, lead singer for the band Strike and Lucas, vocalist for Fresno – yes, there's a band here in Brazil named Fresno – all three appear at the end of the promo)

Interestingly, from what I've seen, The Dutch Nicktoons Network airs (or used to air) a bit of anime.

The Horror!!...

Nickelodeon Portugal premiered on September 1st the following live-action shows: Just Jordan, The Latest Buzz, Zoey 101, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and I think Drake and Josh premiered a new season.

But there are also several animation shows that premiered or will premiere: Back to the Barnyard , and The Penguins of Madagascar premieres next week.

From a 24 Hour animation network to a 12 hour live-action, 12 hour animation network. Well... I guessed it would be happening some day...

I don't see what's so bad about that.. Nickelodeon is a general kid's entertainment network.. :/

You guys are just getting those shows? Out of curiosity, are they dubbed into Portuguese?

Yeah I guess you're right.

It only started in 2006. It had the original shows. Its only reaching the live-action now.

The animation is dubbed. The live-action shows are subbed.

That's wright, we aired until this summer the dubbed version of mew mew Power (or "Tokyo Mew Mew").

I will give some commentary on our Nicktoons Network.
Programming can be found on http://www.nickelodeon.be/tv/gids/nick-toons. If that doesn't work: change the "be" by "nl".

What I think is great is that we air on Nicktoons the english & dutch version of The Angry Beavers, CatDog, SpongeBob SquarePants, Invader Zim, Rocko's Modern Life.
We air the english version of Ren & Stimpy, Kablam, Making Friends & Random Cartoons.

What I think is stupid is that we air here on Nicktoons NON-Nicktoons: Viva Piñata, Grossology, Dragon Hunters & Skyland.
What I think is nonsense is that we air already more then a year Catscratch & The X's (shows with only 20 episodes) every day in double episodes. So 14 episodes per week of each show... (and only in Dutch )
Also I think we are now overairing some shows with also not so many episodes like Ricky Sprocket & Tak and the Power of JuJu.

What I think is surely missing:
* Avatar (English & Dutch)
* Danny Phantom (English & Dutch)
* Chalkzone (English & Dutch)
* My Life as a Teenage Robot (English & Dutch)
* Jimmy Neutron (English & Dutch)
* Fairly Odd Parents (English & Dutch)

If I think of a programming that includes these (some from monday to thursday & the others in the weekend), then I think of a great channel.

Like earlier said: I can't (yet) watch this channel; but if I see the programming of a channel I know enough!

Nick France bumpers:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5c8N...e=channel_page

Huh. It looks like it oddly enough took them two years to get iCarly there.
It sounds like they didn't dub the theme song, just the show itself. That sucks.

Also, Nick France appears to still air 6teen.. As well as Johnny Test and Blue Dragon.
Nick Australia apparently is already using the new logo.

Hell, here's Nick France's programming, from what I can tell:

iCarly
The Zybrides
6teen
Johnny Test
Blue Dragon
Spongebob
El Tigre
Fresh
Dora the Explorer
Jimmy Neutron
Danny Phantom
H20
Avatar
Fairly OddParents
Zoey 101
Ned's Declassified
Drake & Josh

My god, I wish Nick USA was like that.

Nick Latin America has premiered Jimmy Two-Shoes yesterday.
that's right, Nick.

there is Disney XD here, but Nick bought the show. is it something in (a very late) response to Disney channels (Disney Channel and Disney XD) getting seasons 1-5 of Fairly OddParents (Nick has the rights to all Jimmy Timmy Power Hours and season 6 and later – Wishology starts airing this week)?

Kinda reminds me of the ads we had for the SpongeBash with the statue in the background.
