The Most Glorious Relaunch Make Benefit Upstate!

Oh hello there, Internet!

For those of you just tuning in, 'The Upstate Hero' (or just 'Upstate!') is a comic epic about a hippie-sort of fellow who possesses killer kung-fu, a master thief, a garage band, some girls, and a bear. These are things that you may or may not want in a webcomic, but nonetheless I stand by my product.

Upstate has had a history of false starts, but recently I have decided to start it again, for the fourth (and last) time. It took me a while to decide the kind of story I wanted to tell, and there were a number of setbacks along the way (including a year-long deployment in Iraq and an engagement that didn't pan out) which caused, if nothing else, to revise and improve upon both my art ans my writing. My characters, too, have grown, and are completely different from the past versions some of you might remember.

In the next week I'll be cleaning up and relaunching my old website at cartoons dammit with some new artwork and hopefully, a schedule for updating.
