The mini character figures were released, but the Megadueses never were. The packaging looks awesome as well.

Big O and Big Duo figures were released. I saw them down at Fry's once.

You sure? Those were part of a random anime vehicle collection, they did Bebop, Outlaw Star and other stuff too. They were all 3 inches tall.
These ones were supposed to be much bigger.

According to a retailer I emailed, Bandai's Big O toy line has been cancelled, Clockstomper. The toys featured at the figures.com website were completely new sculpts, not reissues from the Anime Collector line. Not sure if the Kotobukiya One Coin figures were actually going to be distributed with the Bandai figures, or whether they were just for decoration at Toy Fair. The Kotobukiya figs, BTW, are being imported by Diamond in April I think, in two window-boxed sets. So if you're looking for the open-cockpit chase figure, you can get it in these sets.
I am sad about the Bandais, especially that electronic O. It was actually going to have a garage in it's foot and a little Griffon that fit inside. Maybe they'll have reconsidered by February!

Thanks. It's a shame, those figures were really good.

These ones were supposed to be much bigger. Those figures are more than three inches tall. I've got the Big O & Duo on my dresser at home and I think they're more like six inches tall.

(And Jaguar left the computer, not to be seen until he finds these said figures.)

Best of luck Jaguar, they're pretty hard to find at a decent price these days, especially the Big Duo set. I still don't understand why Bandai discontinued the series, they seemed to sell pretty well at my local TRU. REALLY pissed that they never released the Blue Sub No.6 set.
On a related note, since we're talking Big O toys, does anyone know what's up with Toycom's diecast Big O? It was talked up quite a bit before season 2 began, haven't heard of it since. I know Toycom takes it's own sweet time developing and releasing stuff (Witness the transformable Escaflowne). Wondering if it's cancelled like the Bandai line.

I'll forgive Bandai when Williams Street give me their 7 foot Big O toy.

The dicast one looked pretty sweet. Interchangable hands and movable joints. I think the pistons moved as well.

If I were to write here how much I want a Big Duo figure like the one in the pictures linked to above, why, you'd make fun of me.
Does anyone have a link or anything to a store (or...person) who will accept money in exchange for one of these? The amount isn't important.
