I'm in a favorite HM thing today. My favorite movie is "Starboy and the Captain of Outer Space" from "History".

The one where they went green -- when they chop downt he tree! Yea they gave that tree what it had coming!
It was seen in "Its Time to pay the Price"
Even better than though (also from that episode) is the one that is supposed to be German (i dont think a title is given)

Either Kafka or Starboy.Agreed. I also like the one in "Get Away From my Mom" with Jason and his explanation on why he can't have too much cheese.

Without a doubt, Kafka!
Backwards movie from "My Cheatin' Heart" is up there. Susan B. Anthonthy and the Time to Pay the Price Montage for sure.

Star boy and it's various incarnations were great, but i think my favorite was the farm movie ("The old man! THE OLD MAAAAANNN!!") from Bad Influences... i still crack up whenever i hear myself say that line, which is often...

The best Brendon Small film is definitely the second "Starboy" movie (the one from History). Hands down one of the funniest things to come out of Home Movies.

Jesuszilla was a bit of genius. And I liked "Starboy" with George Washington, Picasso and Annie as the villians. Their little "origin" sequences were hilarious.

I love that one. Makes me hungry hot.
I also enjoy Slapstick Barbarian and the Franz Kafka Rock Opera.

One of the Starboy's and captain of outer space. Not sure which one but they are all good:)
I'll vote for "Starboy and the Captain of Outerspace" as well. Just endlessly quotable ("Seriously Starboy, we should quit screwing around. . .and go find out how hot dogs are made!") and totally surreal.
I'll also vote for the Kafka one, just because it takes days to get that "Livin' like a bug ain't easy" song out of my head.
Given the amount of catchy and downright brilliantly insane songs in "Home Movies," I'm shocked there's not a thread for "Best Home Movies Songs."

The German movie was great. I typed out the script for "Time to Pay the Price" and that movie required me to write it down pho-ne-tic-al-y.
