G.I. Joe series

I heard there was a new G.I. Joe series in the works in CG. Has there been any info released yet? I wating for it because I thought the movie was a great way to spend an hour.

Well, it's reairing on Toonami next Friday at 5.5.

Yeah, that and four episodes of Dragonball GT are all that's new to Toonami in January.

for its brief length, i'll say that g.i. joe movie has its moments. like how you think storm shadow's fight with the rival ninja was going to be short, but there was a lot of rounds. or how close to animated toys , which was kind of nice, the cgi was. or how shipwreck's parrot got the cobra commander lots of crackers. how they kept the cobra organization to a nice, manageable set of characters without the multitudes of hanger-ons prevalent in the 84 animated series.. and how this, in some ways, explains why cobra's current locale was in the jungle.

you should have fun with this. i just hope sometime i find that dvd. will be watched, lots, mmm.

and if the writing is good in the series, i will be glad to see a series on g.i. joe. at least ,i'll have some pleasant memories for me that the early 00's won't have crushed due to.. horror.

At moment, we have an all new CGI animated OVA movie. It's possible we could see an CGI animated series in the near future. If the success of G.I. Joe: Skytroops paid off, then it could happen. Right now, I see them doing another OVA movie, before making an attempt in doing a new TV series.

What's this I heard about a GI Joe: Valor VS Venom OVA? I loved Spy Troops, and I'd like to see that universe continue.

Really... Spy Troops is probably the only appointment viewing I'll make for Toonami in January.
