With WS recently making a promise to bring back Action Saturdays, what will become of SVES? Will it be shortened by 2 hours or will it fade away and make room for more CC repeats?

SVES: 7-11 PM Eastern
ASA: 11 PM-5 AM Eastern.

That sounds good to me. Honestly I doubt that the two action block couldn't live together, or that they would get rid of SVES. I love BCVM22's schedule, seven hours of action cartoons.

I want to know what AS meant by "Saturday for anime, Sunday for comedy." They make is sound like they're going back to two days a week.

WHY does everyone think that?! They're talking about segregating the weekend content. They never said they were removing Mon-Thurs, and it isn't going to happen. You people make the strangest overanalyzations.

I know they wouldn't, I'm just saying their explanation wasn't as detailed as it could have been. I get the jist of what they're saying is: Saturday = 3 hours of action, Sunday = 3 hours of comedy, Mon-Thurs. = 1 hour of comedy, 2 hours of action.
The big question is what are they going to use Saturday for? Movies and marathons or will they continue episodes thru Saturday (like if episode 4 airs Thursday epsiode 5 will air Saturday)?

Well what about the shows for SVES. Would they keep it as a premiere block for cartoons not for the main Toonami demograph or make it a late night Kids WB?

Probably the former.

Yea, but it's 1/2 and 1/2 now since a couple of hours have been subtracted.
They've still gotta make room for JL, TT, and then they have He Man, Tr:Energon, and maybe SJ or RK.
Otherwise it could be Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon, Jacky Chan Adventures, X-Men Evo. See thats 2 hours allready of Kids WB programing they've shown on SVES and we know that CN would rather have that audience since the AS block will show up afterwards. How can this all work out in the end?

Probably the former.
I doubt it. SVES is what CN uses to premire CN funded action shows. So I doubt that is going away anytime soon. If anything they might move it up and hour or two.

They can so easily dispense the Kids WB material. TT, JL (one hour), SJ, MOTU, TE, ZF, C009. Four hours, 7-11.

I can almost guarantee Rurouni Kenshin before AS.

I doubt it. I don't think CN'll be doing much with Kenshin that far in the future.
Even though it's getting great ratings?

Great ratings? Great ratings with what age group? I doubt we'll be seeing Kenshin on AS since they don't have the extra spots to air reruns.

The show has been getting great ratings on SVES; one can only assume that since the show flopped to get ratings with its' earlier demographic that it is the other demographic that has been tuning in week after week. I have a theory that WS will re-purchase the series and air it on AS along with the unaired episodes and OVAs.

SVES can hang for all I care because Toonami could host most of its shows and prime time could handle the rest, but this is how I could see it.
07:00 - He-Man: MOTU
07:30 - Transformers: Energon
08:00 - Zoids Fuzors
08:30 - Samurai Jack
09:00 - Teen Titans
09:30 - Justice League
10:00 - Cyborg 009
10:30 - Rurouni Kenshin
11:00 - Adult Swim Action
However, this is what I would love to see.
Toonami Super Saturdays!
05:00 - SD Gundam (continues weekday run)
05:30 - Yu Yu Hakusho (continues weekday run)
06:00 - He-Man: MOTU
06:30 - Samurai Jack
07:00 - Duel Masters (uncertain)
07:30 - Dragonball GT (replay fridays or premieres)
08:00 - Zoids Fuzors (replaced by another show)
08:30 - Transformers: Energon (premieres)
09:00 - Teen Titans (premieres)
09:30 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (continues weekday run)
10:00 - Cyborg 009 (premieres)
10:30 - Rurouni Kenshin (possibly premieres)
11:00 - Inuyasha (premieres)
11:30 - Tenchi GXP (premieres)
12:00 - ASA Action Feature
01:30 - FLCL (for filler)
9 hours of the best action series and animes!
Now THAT is freak'n good television!

What the... why buy a series they ALREADY have? There is little doubt they don't have the Christian Arc, they just have to decide if they can air it, where they can air it and if they want to massacre it with edits.
And the OVAs are from ADV. After GRW, CN seems to be sticking with other companies for the time being.

The Kenshin OAVs are currently running on Anime Network as well.
