Heh..

Over here on the west coast (SoCal) Cartoon Network has been frozen for almost a day now.

The audio track is still playing, but the image on screen is a frozen picture of some crummy band they profiled way back on toonami.

seems like it's going to be like this until the new year LOL

[edit] my friend who lives about 10-20 miiles away from me on time warner cable sees the same thing. I'm on charter cable for that matter.

I don't think that's the ENTIRE west coast. It might be a problem with your cable company. Give them a call.

Nope, it's not just them. Everyone I know on the west coast was complaining.

Man that sucks. That happened here once. I can't remember for how long. It did happen another time during th night, except there was no audio either.

As I do not live near the west coast, I have not experienced that problem, but the thread title indicates that I should share this story that I will not forget soon. One night a couple of years ago, I did what seemed like the unthinkable. I stayed awake for something that was on at after 2am. A very rare classic WB cartoon short had its only showing on Cartoon Network EVER (and has not been shown again). On the evening that the night started on, there was a reception error and at least Cartoon Network stopped working. By 9 or 10pm, it was partially fixed, with good sound, but a terrible picture. (barely watchable) In other words, all of my time was spent waiting for a poor print of a cartoon. (It was still worth it, because copying it from a timer recording would have decreased the quality even more.

It happened again today. For about 45 minutes there was a still image of a little blonde kid playing with a red Power Rangers figure. Ended around 7 pm.

If CN wasn’t in 98% rerun mode right now I’d actually be upset. But as it is I’d kind of like to see what will air tomorrow.
