If I could have ANY job in the world. It would definitly be a voice actor. I love trying to emote my voice more and more and when I hear the voices on T.V. I just wish I could be like that. I know it sounds kind of stupid but hey...shut up.
Note that this can be ANY job not one that you have or think pays the most. What would YOU be happy doing?
I'd like to be a comic book artist, but I still have years of schoolin' ahead of me. I'd love to work for DC, specifically on Catwoman (my all time fave American comic antiheroine). I doubt this will happen though. To get into the big leagues, one needs not only talent, but a great deal of luck, and a resume by God. :(
I can still dream though, right?
I can never think of any dream jobs that I'd want that would work out for me in real life. When I was younger, the idea of being a DJ for a radio station sounded really cool, but at the time, I was a very shy person. I'm not as shy anymore, but am still on the quiet side.

For me, a job that pays decently and makes use of the things I've learned is a good job. Working as a security guard was hell for me - I enjoyed it for a bit, but after dealing with jerks for supervisors, and having to work all of the holidays, it gets old.
I'm really enjoying my job at DuPont. I'm doing data entry, but I'm learning something new (using SAP and Lotus Notes), and for a temp, I'm getting paid decently ($14/hr). And the people here are wonderful - I've worked at other places where they treated temps like dirt. I'm hoping that DuPont will renew my contract in March, and that I'll have a shot at being hired on full-time with them.

Nothing.
Yep. I don't wanna work for money. So... housewife? Heh...
But seriously, I'd love to be a freelance Web designer/developer, in a world where companies dedicated more money and serious attention to Web endeavors. I'd write in PHP, (and learn Perl or Java in my free time :D). I could probably do it, too, if I had training in graphic design. But, seems to me no one around here (NB, Canada) is serious about their sites, other than major corporations, which either have their own Web team, or outsorce. So I guess being on one of those teams is my next choice :)

A very fitting thread since I've been asking myself that for weeks now and still have absolutely no idea whatsoever. I'm amazed at all the people who actually know what they want to do and have career paths and plans... I've never known, I still don't know and at the moment don't see me ever knowing that.
So, professional career advisor it is then. http://forums.toonzone.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Hmm, I'd like to do voice acting too. I think that would be so much fun:p Fat chance of it ever happening, but it'd be fun.
I'd really like to play professional softball. I'd say Olympic, but they are getting rid of it and baseball the year I'd be old enough to play:mad:
But jobs I'm seriously considering? Astronomer and Nutritionist. Lately I've been leaning towards nutrition, but then I look up at the stars and want to be an astronomer again:sweat:

I'm pretty happy being the fairly successful part time nurse/writer that I am. The only other job I would want (that would never happen) would be Complete Universal Conqueror, but like I said, never gonna happen. So I'm content.

Super male super model super hero writer charity worker comic book guy playwright supreme.
But in all honesty I think my dream job would be being a writer or playwright. I'd love to write comic books or for TV shows, but those are the two jobs I want the most.

I would love to spend my workdays being an actress or a professor in English Literature Perhaps rather two random different jobs, but I can definitely see myself doing either and loving it.

My job of choice would be a director of movies, voice actor (always wanted to be one since I was a little kid, since I can do many impersonations), and comedian. They are dream jobs, but I'll never give up on my dreams, someday it will happen and I'll be happy.

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a serious passion for writing. Just the art of using imagination to create characters and tell stories that are reflective of life itself (both to what is happening and what could happen) is a great deal of fun. I hope to publish either novels or screenplays one day. Also, along side the writing aspect, I am a great film lover and therefore a wannabe filmmaker. I take movie making seriously, and consistently analyze the way things are done (like the shots, acting, and soundtrack) and am currently taking steps to learn how to do the aspects on my own (starting small of course with a digital camera). This thread posed a great question, so I would say those two rather ambitious dreams are my answer.

Should I be at all worried that I identify with Fry from Futurama at all? Apart for the whole cryogenic freezing on New Years eve thing that is. Gee, New Years eve is pretty soon...

BWAAAHAHAHAHAHA telemarketing is cool!
But you hafta have the right mindset for it, and I know I do since I have been telemarketing fo almost ten years...the job security was a little shaky after that Do Not Call list thing, but when you call businesses there is no Do Not Call list :D So now I have serious Job Security, and a killer paycheck! $10/hr+around $10-$12/hr in bonuses when you have an ok week. More if ya do better, less if ya do worse. The only thing I hate about my current job is that I hafta wake up at 4:30 in the morning, but I am home by 3:30 so its worth it ;)

*sniff*If I had any job in the world it would be voice acting as well! I love to come up with silly voices. I always came up with the most annoying voices to annoy my parents as a child. They got me out of it for a while. But, I have started it up again. They think I went nuts because of college.
Next to voice acting... Hmm, I would LOVE to work in animation production in any fashion. Mostly animating, story boarding/writing, and voice acting. :anime: I'd also like to make toys. ANything that has to do with making cartoons enjoyable for kids and appeal to adults and teenagers alike is my goal in life. :)
Getting to that point is another story.

An international journalist, no doubt. Someone who writes for The London Financial Times, or The Economist, or the New York Times, or... you get my drift. You get to travel the world, view history as it happens, and interact with some of the most important people in the world. I don't think anything could be more appealing than that. It's high-pressure, but worth it.
Other than that... I've always kind of liked the idea of being a courier. And someone who gets to work out in the wild, like a biologist or a geologist, would be a lot of fun. I like the sea, too... maybe a fisherman?
Probably a soldier for something like the GSG-9 or SAS.

Well, I would really enjoy starting my own home health care organization with a medium size staff of friends/professionals I have met through my years of work who share the same philiosophy of care as I do. That would be my ideal choice of jobs.

I want to be a Philosopher/Writer like Mark Twain.
I would just spend my life meeting famous and imprtant people. Then write about it. And people could quote me.
That would be cool.

Animal show host like Jeff Corwin. I love animals and I'd love to visit the places he goes off to. Educating/teaching people is also something that I enjoy at times.
