Personaly (you laugh and I'm gonna be PISSED) I enjoy watching some of my old power rangers tapes showing me then no matter how many years pass I still can retain a shard of my youth by watching and remembering one of my favorite shows as a youngin.

As most people I like to set a new years resolution that I never stick to. This year I dont really have one but I have way too many things I should improve anyway so I guess I'll figure it out soon enough. Aw well to the victor go the spoils...or something.

I usually stay home on New Year's Eve; it's not really a big deal to me. If I'm babysitting my niece, we might play some Playstation games or watch a movie before she has to go to bed (she's almost 10).

I've never bothered with New Year's resolutions, because in the past, I've almost never stuck to them. Or I can't think of anything really creative for a resolution.

I like your idea of watch Power Rangers, or something else that you've been a long-time fan of. I should do that this year - perhaps dig out my Wedding Peach fansubs or watch one of the older Spider-Man episodes - something that's either corny as heck (but adorable) or from my childhood. Thanks for the great idea!

Well, in the past I've had New Year's parties, gone out for a nice dinner, or had a cozy night in watching movies with friends.
This year my best friend and I are going to Vegas for New Year's! Woohoo!

I used to like going out for New Year Eve Parties, but for the past of couple of years, I found it more enjoyable to stay home and just watch the New Year's eve come from there.

Yeah, I generally stay home on New Years. Watch some New Years special on TV. Dick Clark man... That and we have a traditional New Years Eve buffet, which has my favorite once a year treat... Bugles:p Hope I can eat them this year...

I still follow my traditions of staying at home and watching a particular program on television. I used to get excited about both the "new year" and "staying 'up' until midnight." This year, neither of those will make me excited. I will be happy that what happened in 2003 will be "no longer in the current year," but 2004 does not look promising. I only stayed awake until midnight few times this year, but many of those were/will be this month.

Me too. It'll be the most back-to-back new stuff this year, I think.

Usually it's nothing big.

I like watching the morons getting drunk on TV. :p

This year I'm going to be spending New Years Eve (or day) with my grandmother in Boston (Charlestown, actually.. :)

It'll be fun since I love her (of course,) and I haven't seen her since Octboer and not since almost a year before that. :)

I usually hang out at home, going out on New Years can be fun, but unless you plan way in advance its linda pointless. Plus most places that have parties, are expensive to get into, or are at max capacity. So you can pay 75 bucks a person to go somewhere, and if it stinks and you happen to find another place BAM 75 bucks more.

This year some friends are having a party so its looks like thats the plan. Though, personally, I'd rather make a couple of lobster's and hang out with my girlfriend...unfortunately she wants to go do the party thing.

I always like to finish some activities before the end of the year. This year, in October, I set up a "December 31" deadline for the overdue reorganization of the list of every cartoon I have. I recently decided to do the whole thing on December 31, and it might take much of the day.

Like many I'm just staying home to spend time with my family. We're haveing a fondu dinner like we did last year. :p I'll probly stay up well after midnight like I always do when I don't have school the next day. During that time I might have an Excel Saga/anime marathon. Eather that or play on my new PS2. And (if I can get ahold of them) I might call up my RL friends to wish them a happy new year. :)

I typically spend new years with the family... however, this year, I'll be at the big new years bash at one of my friends' houses :)

So far, nothing's planned, but most likely my New Year's will involve a little bit of alky-hol and a little bit of harmless mischief but overall good times being had by all. :)

I'm probably gonna stay up until morning.

I actually did that when 2002 started. I had the whole house to myself. I watched the ball drop, and then went online, and played video games, and didn't go to bed until 7 in the morning. I never thought I'd ever not sleep at night.

I usually go out for some live music with friends, and that's what I'm doing this year. Hopefully, we'll fit in some fireworks somewhere. Blowing stuff up is my favorite part of the evening.

I don't think I could ever be satisfied spending New Year's at home and/or by myself. Viewing the AS marathon is all well and good, by I feel like the night is meant to be spent with friends, preferably doing something cooler than watching TV.

And hey, I actually kept last year's resolutions. So it IS possible...

I will probably spend it at home watching the ball drop or the peach drop along with my friend and probably stay up the rest of the night. thats the best part of new years eve staying up all night and ringing in the new year.

my family had a tradition. our family would get together with another family. the other family are our friends and we always do stuff together. the other family's dad was best man at my mom and dad's wedding and vice versa. they have a daugther my age and a son my younger sister's age. we'd all get together and stay at a hotel somewhere and just do hotel stuff. eat out, swim in the pool, and run down the hallways screaming

this year we aren't doing that because all of the kids are grown up and graduated from high school, except my youngest sister. she's only in fourth grade. heh heh. anyway, this year i am going to my older brother's apartment (which is the reason i'll be gone for almost two weeks) and we are going out to the bars on new year's eve. i'm going to get smashed and hopefully i'll get lucky...at gambling

When I was a kid here in Washington a local UHF station (WDCA 20) used to show Marx Brothers movies all night long on New Year's Eve. They don't do it anymore though (sigh) so I mainly get stinkin' drunk.

In the past I have always gone over to my best friend's house, ate what we like to call an appetizer bonanza, played uno and board games with her younger siblings, watched the 'ol Dick Clark, then shot off fireworks since she sort of lives in the country.

Ahh, but this year I'm breaking the tradition and spending it with my boyfriend. No definate plans as of yet, but hopefully it will include good food and drink.

And on New Year's Day my family always eats beans (actually it might be specifically black eyed peas) cause they say that it's good luck to eat beans on New Years. Is that just my family or do other people do that?

Haven't made plans yet. Probably will stay at home with the family, nice and warm watching the eternal Dick Clark, or if AS has on something good maybe that. Maybe throw some MTV in there too. If i have time (which I will since lately I've become an insomniac.) I'll PM some new years wishes, etc.http://forums.toonzone.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Weirdest thing about having Dish on the westcoast, I'll probably see New Years eve at 9. lol.http://forums.toonzone.net/images/smilies/sweat.gif

I'm gonna spend New Years's like I always do, at home. We might have 2 ringing ins of the New Year. A tradition started about 3 years ago in which we call my father's sister back home in Sicily [that is where our ENTIRE family is], talk on speaker and just listen to them count down then vice versa when it's midnight here. Kind of fun if not wierd.

I might have to do an Yu Yu Hakusho: Dark Touranment Marathon, or an Outlaw Star marathon starting tonight then. This will probley lead me up to The Adult Swim New years eve.
