It should be on either before or after Toonami and eventually ON Toonami but oh well.
On the week after Christmas,
My CN gave to me,
a whole week of TMNT!
Looking forward to watching it on CN, too bad it took GRIM's spot in the lineup. AT least it's before the new year which I think was a surprise to many.

Um, it's always been official. The test run was scheduled weeks ago.

True Matt, but I think he means "Offical Cartoonnetwork.com Schedule" Offical now. As in, you can see it on CN's schedule and now what episodes are playing.

Yes but now its in writting. We knew TMNT was coming in Spring no matter what, but we only had info from Dan Berger (webmaster of the official TMNT website) saying it would air the last week of December.

So, how big will your TMNT welcoming party be?

It's gonna be a big party. Lots of pizzas, plenty of toonage, and Hyper Luigi's even trying to get the Turtles to stop by for a visit. Of course they're busy filming they're second season and all, so it's going to be hard.
"Why do you-"
No no no, Insanity. You aren't funny, and you're just going to get me in trouble, so I'm just ending this now.
See ya.

I COULD resist saying this, but when would I ever get the chance again, or at least any time soon? So at risk of sounding like an idiot:
"cowabunga"
All right, all right:
"COWABUNGA DUDES!"
DianaGohan

It could of been worse shoujoafan: You could of said "Excellente Dude! Turtle Power is Radical!" or something like that.
(BTW, are you going to check out my Zoids Fuzors parody. I think you'll like it).
On topic, out of the episodes airing next week Hyper Luigi, which one would you say is the best? And will you be making a talkback for them?
Killtacular

One talkback for the five episodes of the test run, much like a Toonami talkback.

Aren't we all?
Slightly OT, this thread has such an odd name, everytime I read it, I laugh and I scream it really loud and threatening-like. Try it.

This will be the first Ninja Turtles episode I've ever seen. Well, I've seen parts of ones, but I can't wake up on Saturday mornings because I go to bed late. Anyway, sounds good.

Ah, someone talking my language. Same thing with me, by the time I wake up on Saturday's it's lunch time. That's why I'm liking that CN picked up TMNT and I hope they do that with some of the other saturday morning shows.

"It's a shell of a good time"
Anyway... I like the first episode the best for overall entertainment level but it is notably the one with the worst vocals. It was before things started to settle.
I'd love to do a talk back for the whole week if they'll let me, and if they don't then I'll make a parody thread along the lines of the Zoids and JL parody threads. With plenty of TMNT fan-service (as in if you know TMNT from way back when then you're gonna get the humor better than those who haven't).

This is the original series, right?
I haven't seen this in years. I actually have some of those trading cards from the series in my card collection in my attic. And some action figures! I wish I treated those cards and figures better as a kid and not leave them out where our cat would gnaw on them, they could have been worth lots in mint condition.

Excellent news. I got really tired of waking up at 6 a.m. to see this show (My FOX affiliate doesn't air it so I get it on my UPN channel at this time) so this works out for me (and it's after an hour of PPG  ).

Here's a little joyus news I found on the TMNT official site. It seems the new show...
"Will air daily on Cartoon Network beginning in March, 2004"
Good to know it wont waste away on just SVES. So that means prime time, Toonami, or around Toonami. I'm still hoping for Toonami, because it needs a "new" show BADLY but I'm just happy it will be airing all week instead of just on saturdays.

since its around the time when Totally Spies comes on, it should do good. That and those who can't wake up in the mornings and want to see it. It should do very good

I have to warn people, the first 5 episodes aren't as good as the series later becomes. It goes from a watchable show to one of the best action toons ever created. No lie.
Dan Burger on the official site said to tune in, to prove to the CN execs that the show will work. Now, he could just mean good initial ratings would be better, but he could mean, worst case senario, that this is a test run to see if should be broadcast.
It'd be a waste of money if they hadn't bought the tapes already, though. Maybe they're testing timeslot demos?

Yay. I used to like the original turtles... (even though I can only recall watching like 2 episodes :p )
This should be fun.

Putting it right before TS is probably to see if they can get viewership from both boys and girls. They are also basically checking the Toonami demo when doing that. More so then if it was tested in prime time.
Unfortunately I can't watch 'em live because I'll probably be at work or at least on my way home from work at that time ALL week, but I'll tape them to see how CN does its bumpers and what not.
I'm still hoping for Toonami, because it needs a "new" show BADLY but I'm just happy it will be airing all week instead of just on saturdays.
Technically speaking, it's getting Groove Adventure Rave, Duel Masters, as well as new YYH episodes by that time.

Nope only Duel Masters by then. TMNT would hold over until new YYH in April, and Groove Adventure Rave probably wont be coming to Toonami until Summer or Fall 2004.
