Stupidest Character?

Well uh, I would say Billy's the stupidest. The others at least all have some sort of brain, but Billy dosen't.

And Reasons why the others are not as stupid as Billy.
Ed- He's dumb sure, but he actually has his moments of intellegence, like figuring out what woman are like when the Eds tried to make stuff for Jimmy Sarah and Nazz or deducing about the clue when the Eds were framed by Jimmy.

Dee Dee- She seems stupid, but then how come Dexter is unable to keep her out of his lab? I mean, he's a genius after all right? So she must have some sort of intellegence, even if it is hidden.

KND- Numbah One is sometimes self centered and arrogant, Numbah Two is goofy and clumsy, Numbah 3 is a version of Dee Dee but cuter, Numbah 4 is tough minded and far too eagar, and Numbah 5 has no characteristics of "stupdity". None of them are stupid, IMO.

Duck Dodgers- He may seem like it, but he does have his moments. And hell, he is pretty good at his job when everything is on the line. Not really stupid, but more self absorbed and clueless about the world around him.

Johnny Bravo- Okay, maybe he is as stupid as Billy, and I do believe in one episode they said he had no brain, but Johnny was smarter in the original series.

Deedee's not stupid, just free-spirited. There's plenty of times where she teaches Dexter a thing or two and is very intelligent.

Take for example Pinky, Pinky is not stupid. In fact he's almost as smart as The Brain. But he's just insane, hence the theme song. Of course at some points the writers went to far with things and made him stupid.

Same things go for many of the people on this poll. Dee Dee is not stupid, she just sees the world throgh a different view. And concentrates her mind on more artistic and fun ventures. Johnny and Duck Dodgers are also not stupid, they're just arrogant (maybe ignorant) this makes them sometimes seem stupid. Of course like mentioned before Johnny became a lot stupider later on. The KND just aren't stupid.

Anyway the only characters who are really and fully intended to be stupid are Billy, Ed, and me... but I'm not a character so I'll exclude myself. Billy is just a dumb goof off who just doesn't care enough to learn. On the other hand Ed is so dumb that it seems like they're actually making fun of the mentally disabled. I mean really, when Grim explains something to Billy... Billy gets it. Ed seems to lack intelligence and the ability to learn.

There are a couple other characters who could of been on the poll, like Big Billy from the PPG and I guess, maybe Cow... but she's more like Dee Dee in just being sweet and seeing the world from a different view.

Ed is the dumbest one. Now I know that he is at the age in which one does not really think twice about what he is going to say or do before actually going with the plan, but you would have to admit that he has no logic. Give him something and he'll eat it, or try to eat it.

He is very gullible too. Deep down inside he still thinks that Edd is from another planet.

I beg to differ. Ed is not stupid but in his own world. The reason he acts this way is because he watches too many of those bad monster movies. He is so wrapped up in his world of monster movies that his attention span is very limited. He could be very intelligent but for some people it takes longer for it to come out (he could very well suffer from Attention Deficit Disorder). Think about it.

The same could be said for Beavis form Beavis and Butthead. Some people say that Beavis could very well be a genius but will remain forever repressed by Butthead's degrading remarks.

As for dumbest, well, that's a hard one. Bravo's just a womanizer, Dee Dee's more like Ed from Cowboy Bebop in that she has a brain underneath a bizzare exterior, so I'll go with the Kids Next Door.

I think Blue Wolf said it best. Billy may be stupid, but at least he understands and comprehends what Grim is telling him when he tells him something. Ed just seems to not be able to learn or understand things at all. Thus, I'm going to vote for Billy. He's dumb, but has the ability to be smart. Ed just seems to lack the ability to understand, comprehend, and learn, therefore disabling him from being smart. But really, it’s not his fault.

Maybe so, but I've never really seen any sign of intelligence in Ed, where as I've seen it in every other character in the poll. Now by no means am I saying you're wrong. I think that they're only on the poll because of people's dislike for the show, and call them stupid because they feel the show is stupid. Take it from someone who is a fan of KND: They're not stupid. Immature, sure. Naieve at times? sure. Confused? Sure. But they're kids. And that's how kids act. Uncle Gus was a story about a guy that lived in a trailer with his nephew, his friend, and a talking monkey (?) So Gus see's his long lost girlfriend on TV and wants to find her so he can propose. She happened to work at the local Zoo watching over the monkeys. We then have to watch this really stupid plot about Gus sneaking into the zoo since he's broke and defeat the head male gorilla in the tribe to win the love of his girlfriend. At the same time this takes place, we have to hear his annoying chubby nephew sing and sing and sing which drives you insane. He is no better than his uncle, but gets the better half of the dumbass stick.

Let's face facts, KND and most of the CN characters are not stupid (Dee Dee in fact has some bright intelligent spots from time to time..)

but if you want to classify stupidity as being lack of intelligence, it's really on none of the characters...

but if you want to classify stupidity as being moronic and lackluster then 2 of the characters being voted on fall into this category..

Billy -- Now Billy (of Grim and Evil ) isn't stupid in terms of Intelligence.. in fact he makes the Term Oxymoron Look like a Pimple Cream... and believe me Billy talking about letting the dogs out, and doing other things in that one episode where Aeris tries to get him to create chaos, really shows how oxymoronic Billy is.

Ed-- Ed (of Ed, Edd, and Eddy) on the other hand is your typical village idiot type... His father was probably Pinky or Forest Gump, and his Mother left him on the doorstep of some Rather Rich CEO Nuns.. (and this guy has about as much attention to detail as trying to generate 20 watts of Power To Light a Light bulb, with a Candle under a Teapot..) Frankly Ed just points out he obvious when you least expect it.. like:

Tastes Like Chicken (When eating a snail that looks like a Jawbreaker)

or

I've got a Jar on my butt. (uh no duh Ed, I can see the Glass stuck to your glutamus Maximus!)

but seriously you can't really call KND dumb, nor can you call Dee Dee Dumb, (Insipidly Pestering yes but stupid No)

But Billy and Ed, are two branches off the Same Family Tree. they deserve to show the fact that this is what happens when you "Inbreed" between Kissing Cousins..

(Note: why I made this Rambling Post, wasn't because it was stupid, but rather that the whole idea is boring and moot.)Well I can truly say you do have some facts on this, but really not much in the way of making the these characters stupid, although some people are sensitive to this and I'll have to agree to that, anyway I voted for Billy regards that he is in a close tie with Ed and well to point this out, Billy if mangled with his friend Grim, he is not all that stupid, and Ed falls into that same subject, like with Ed being correct on the subject of giving Rolf Cupcakes of forgiveness as he later says and Ed brought that up the idea first but Eddy refused, that is why these 2 are going to recive a tie for this, so even if they are stupid, they still have a bit of brains in them.
