Just 3 episodes? You are crazy. They could make them like the PPG DVDs, in which there are 2 hours worth of episodes (6 Jack eps) and a bonus Cartoon Cartoon. Also, there would be (drools off to sleep... iniminiminimo...wakes up) Oh, what was I going to say? Oh, yeah, bonus features (games, links, etc).

But, to dash your hopes, no, there are no plans.

But you could always get a video capture card, record the eps, learn how to make your own DVDs and then make a custom Jack VCD.

VCD-DVDs are the best. 5-7 hours of video. Of course it's not so great for shows with lots of motion.

Whether Samurai Jack gets DVDs or not depends on WBHV. If WBHV doesn't want to, CN would have to produce and distribute the DVDs themselves, which they haven't YET (key word: yet) done... which sort of dashed any chance of PPG Movie directors cut..

VCD-DVD? no thanks. I prefer full resolution. WHV can just use dual layer discs to fit more material. we (DVD home authors) can't use those though since they can't be burned.

I prefer length, because of my insomnia.

I think the implication was that by authoring a VCD-DVD yourself you can fit 5-7 hrs on one disk, not that WHV should do this...

actually, they are coming...
"Final specifications and the format book are expected to be available this year and recordable media and recorder products that will use this new dual layer technology are expected in the course of 2004."

Like it says though, you'll need new burners to handle them... :(

I've already got the box set on my Amazon.com "Wish List!"

And it's also available for pre-order at Columbia House. (It's on my CH "Wish List" too, with "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?")

And if you want more Samurai Jack Season Box Sets, make sure you buy Season One. And tell your fellow SJ fans to buy the Box Set too, and have them tell their friends, and etc. etc. etc.

Yea, the image is real. (Though I believe a different 3D image is floating about.) TVShowsOnDVD confirmed that the first 13 episodes of Jack are being released this year (May, I believe).

Um, that is real. It was officially announced weeks ago that the first 13 eps would be coming out in a box set.
