It happen today. :( I was leaving Giants when it happen. I was waiting for the road to clear but someone behind me beep at me. I really hated that so i tried to please her by moving a little up. But there were other cars there and I was in the way so they had to stop and let me go but I didn't see this other car coming for the other lane and it almost hut me! Luckliy my car was still intact but I was so scared. I didn't want to tell my parents because they would yell at me and maybe not let me drive my car arund for while. :(
*phew* well the most important thing here is that you didn't get hurt.
Things like this always shake you up a bit and you can't help but get a case of the 'what ifs...' afterwards. Though you may not feel up to it straight away, in the end you may want to tell your parents just to get it off your chest, okay they may yell but they'll also be very relieved you weren't hurt and all in all they'll probably just tell you to be more careful, after all they worry about you wherever you are and roads are dangerous places. Also remember you're not the first to face a situation like this, similar things have happened to many, many drivers - myself included - during their time on the road.
Try to put this one down to experience and don't let yourself be put off by impatient idiots beeping at you (mastering this also comes with experience) people like this can be very intimidating but in situations such as this ignore them, your safety in paramount and if you don't feel its safe to proceed then don't proceed and let them beep, it won't hurt them to hang fire for another few seconds and cliche though it is its better to get where you're going in one piece than in pieces or maybe not at all.
Glad you're okay :)
Wow. Definitely sounds like a very tense moment there. Glad to here you ended up OK. :) Luckily I haven't had to be in one of those positions when I've driven but I've been in cars where similar things have happened. It just seems the roads are getting really dangerous lately, people are not paying attention, or in a hurry and those are the types of people that tend to be involved in mishaps and such. I hate the beeping people, especially when it's not warranted, I tend to throw up a finger or two, but that's just how I am. :p If you're feeling the need to tell your parents, I'd say go ahead, since the most important thing is nothing bad happened and you're safe, it's not good to keep things to yourself. Be oPen! :D.. unless they'll overreact, then it's OK for a little secret. ;)

No crash = no physical injury = everything will be fine if you try to forget about emotions.
It would probably be better if you do not tell your parents, especially if they really "care about you." Parents often overreact thinking it is for someone's own good, when their decisions might hurt, instead. Just try to learn from the situation and let it slide.

I've been there and done that Bubblegum Girl. Well actually it was diffrent. One time several years ago I was walking on the road and was crossing a road with a traffic light. A car didn't start in time and ran over my right foot. Luckily, I was wearing Steel Tip Boots at the time so it didn't really hurt (the care wasn't going that fast anyway). Another time several years ago I was riding my bike near a Blockbuster video and didn't stop in time and ran face in with an almost parked car. Luckily, I only ran into it slightly and didn't get any real injuries (except for a scar on my finger which healed in a few days). The lesson of this is be careful when around cars. Like my dad always used to say. They're 4000 pound bullets. Do not get in their path.

There probably going to find out sooner or later. Yes thats happened too many people before and parents get over it. Their mad at first but they wont care as they forget about the whole thing.
