I'm just gonna stay at home.

Ever since 1999 me and 4 of my best high school friends get together and watch DVDs/have a LAN party. Usually one of my friends's parents and my parents get together also.

Looks like Aragorn forgot to put a [/QUOTE] at the end of his quote from Proto DUDE.

And me? I might go out to a party, might stay at home. Then again, the AS New Year's party is on that night.... yeah, stay at home for sure.

For me, it is not a question of whether to stay home or go somewhere, but rather what to do at home. My parents know that any plans to go somewhere on that night would be bitterly opposed. I doubt I will do anything special, probably because everything special would have been done during the twelve days before the new year starts. The time around when the new year starts is the only time I watch special, holiday programming on television. I might eat an extra snack, and I might come here or do something else on the internet. My mother does even less; she falls asleep. It is difficult for me to think about New Years' Eve now because it is still far away. (Call me contradictory; I made plans for 2005 back in February 2003...) I still have four more days of school this year.

Either stay home with the family, go to a party if I can, or hang out with a special some one in my apartment.

It's always a tough decision... I get invited to like 4 parties, but too little time to attend them all.. Who do I choose? Help!?

I'm braking a commandment right now.

Just choose the one with the most cool people, that's how I choose parties (if I was ever invited to multiple parties).

I'm braking a commandment right now. (Gasps) You're breaking Thou shalt honor thy father and thy mother? :p

Working. I don't drink, so parties are out, and I earn extra brownie points with my manager/co-workers for taking the dreaded 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM New Years shift

Normally I'd say sitting at home or spending time with friends...

This year, however, I can say I'll be in London, England :D And my hotel is in the middle of the celebration :D :D

Cool!

I'll be at home, probably watching some New Years Eve thing on TV. That or watching some movie I get for Christmas. And eating our traditional New Years junkfood:sweat:

I'm gonna stay at home by myself and watch Adult Swim New Year's Eve Bash because us comedy fans have better things to do than go to parties and have lives. http://forums.toonzone.net/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I have work during the day, and besides going on here, I might watch all 6 FLCL episodes again, then defintely watch the new ATHF, that special show at midnight, and "Blackwatch Plaid."

My son's got his best mates coming over for New Year's Eve sleepover (and I know that sleep will be very low on their agenda) so the place will be awash with noisy adolescent boys hyper on Coca Cola and PS2/Gamecube marathons. All I have to do is keep them supplied with food and yell upstairs periodically about the racket, which leaves me free to do all the other fun new year's eve things like ... erm ... erm ... I'll get back to you on this.

Stay home; what I wanted to do, I can't do it

Well, since I'm always at my grandparents' house during New Year's (and they live several hours from my hometown), and since it'll be the same this year, there really isn't much for me to do besides stay home.

There're probably some events in their town, but I wouldn't know of them.

Anytime I've ever tried to do something for news years it's ALWAYS sucked. It's better to just stay him with a book and my dog.

I have to play at a coffee shop that night with my band, then I will drink heavy amounts of beer and party...

I guess I'll just be watching the AS party, and of course check out the countdown. Man......this year has gone by real fast.

And Rune.....With PS2 and GC marathon gaming, I'd come. Problem is, I have no idea where you live.....Heh.........Videogames rule.
