Games Your Buying for GameCube

I love Nintendo..but I love them even more for GameCube, therefore, I'm making another thread in their honor.. :D

Which games are you Nintendo fans buying for GameCube? I only have enough money for a few which are: Rogue Leader, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. I'm going to buy Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 as soon as I get more money saved up though.

I won't be buying Gamecube yet. Heck, it took me three years to get a N64, two years for a Dreamcast, and seven years for a GameGear.
I'm gonna wait till either the price goes down, or until a good game comes out. If I do get one my game collection will be....

Well, the only one's i've heard of that i want are Super Smash Bros. and Batman Vengeance. But i'm sure i'll want more once i have a Gamecube.

I probably wont get it immediately either. I'm waiting for the price to come down, but I'll probably get it whenever the new Zelda game comes out, which is when I bought my n64 as well.

Yeah, I probably won't be picking up a GameCube right away either - I've got about 30 games for my PS, PS2, and Game Boy Advance that I haven't gotten even close to finishing yet - don't need another system on top of it!

Besides, right now there aren't enough games I'm interested in onthe Game Cube to get me to buy the system. The only one I'm really interested in is Rogue Leader, so far.

I just ordered Rogue Leader from LucasArts...should be here in about..oh..a month and a half.. :)

It had free shipping..and a free mystery gift..so I figured "why not?".. ;)

I won't buy either a GameCube or X-Box until probably April, when I can see how they're doing. The only game I'm really interested in is Rogue Leader, Rogue Squadron for N64 was awesome...sadly, Starfighter on PS2 was not.

Have any of you seen how bad GC is getting slapped in Japan though? Sales suck! PS2 is back to outselling the GC in hardware sales and the PS2 dominates the top 10 selling games. It certainly, in my opinion, casts some doubt on how GC will perform...

loading is fast. it's like a cartridge..you guys have nothing to worry about when it comes to speed.

as for "waiting it buy a gamecube"..you'll probably have to wait in the US anyway..those who are pre-ordering are all booked.

and as for sales sucking in japan...according to Nintendo, their sales are right on target. 300,000 units in 3 days isn't bad...

CDM is abbreviation for Celeberty DeathMatch...I tend to abbrev. ;) Seriously, people aren't going to like it, I'll bet, because it won't have all the celeberties they'd like to see in the game.

At least SA2's going on Gamecube and not X-Box! Yes! Good ole' Sonic and Mario on the same system....crossover time! :D

Huh? I'm here, I'm here! I just didn't want to tempt the fates by posting here... the future of my video game column is up in the air right now since the newspaper I write for is in dire financial straits, and I'm not sure it'll last through next month. Still, if it makes it through the Gamecube launch, I won't mind too much if it goes away. Also, I didn't want to annoy people by innocently pointing out that, as long as my column keeps going, I won't technically be buying the games....

But here's the games, launch and later, I'd spend money on.

Wave Race: Blue Storm (good freakin' lord, the waves look great)
Luigi's Mansion (yes, I've heard it's short, but I've played it a lot at a local store that has a Gamecube set up, and I'm utterly charmed)
Rogue Leader (I just about covered my shirt in drool when I played it at E3, and it's only gotten better since then)
Starfox Adventures (I like Starfox, and I'm a Rare junkie.)
The new Zelda (quibbles about tone aside, the animation was amazing)
The re-done Resident Evil (it's far in the future, but find some screenshots or movies of this and you'll know why it's there)

And I'd probably rent darn near everything else, especially Pikmin, Smash Brothers, and Eternal Darkness.

Actually Take2 is thinking of making it. So far the only celebs are Stone Cold and Marylin Manson. I just hope it has the robosuits from Backstreet Boys VS. Beastie Boys & 98 Degrees VS. blink -182-

A-round in the $50 area..for all. TRU has pre-sells on em' now.. put down $10..pay $40 when you pick it up..those are un-reliable pre-sells though....

Core is $199.95..and good luck on finding a soul who's allowing pre-orders..
