Well, let's try this:

http://wsacp.auctionwatch.com/my/acp/display.html?rcmd=cmd_add_attach&f=optimal3.jpg&rp=1&npp=

If you can see that, then it did work. Assuming i did it correctly, (or should i say if Frozen's directions are correct!:p ) then you will see this picture i drew w/ markers and colored pencils. My scanner resizing quality isn't that good, so just sit back a little further from your computer than normal.

As for who he is, well, he's pretty much just me. I of course gave him an overly perfect muscular boddy, but the head is pretty much a characature of myself. I was feeling like the emotion he is supposed to be portraying, and that's pretty much the only reason i drew it. I don't care for the hands though.

Hope that worked!

Did i do it right?

Hmmm.. nope, not getting anything. Did you manage to upload the pics OK I assume so. When you're on the thumb nail page of your image management page, you need to click on the picture you want to make it 'full size'. Then left click on the image, and scroll down the pop-up menu to 'copy image location'. That then need pasting into your post here on the boards, and the string should look something like this:

http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/preview/mr/mrlazell/Vic1.jpg

That's the link for an image in my 'iimage management' section. If I added the [IMG] brackets, it'd look like this:

[ IMG ]http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/preview/mr/mrlazell/Vic1.jpg[ /IMG ] (without the spaces, between the brackets and IMG though...)

Try that, and see if it works!

I can't left click my image, it just returns me to the main image page, and now optimal321's picture is my directory for some reason.

Nevermind. I had more trial addresses here, but since Jack has one of mine is his directory wrong, i don't think it's a good idea to just have these up for grabs, if you know what i mean.

Well, i can't explain that!

But now that you mention it, i can't left click on my pic either. Advice, anyone?

Try right clicking... I think I inadvertantly put left click when I meant right. If you right click on the image, you will get the menu with 'copy image location' on it. I know this works, 'cos it's how I get my images up!!!

Good luck!

OK, just looked into your problem, Optimal, and you are SOOOO close...

The code you've pasted in here is the from your browser, right? So, that tells me you're lookin' at the right page - you've done everything right - you just need to right click on the image, and then you'll get the menu you need with 'copy image location' on. Then just do what you did before, and you've cracked it...

Boy, can't believe I put left instead of right... y'know, I nearly failed my driving test because of that... :o

Well, i don't have a "copy image location" option when i right click. Only a "copy" and "copy shortcut". I don't know how you can help me w/ that. Oh well, i'll just keep trying different things. Don't worry, i won't just give up. I wouldn't dream of preventing all you from seeing my wonderful artwork:p

That's wierd - 'cos Sookdeo says exactly the same thing, and yet it's there when I right click. Now this I just don't understand - it works when I do it, so why not you guys...

I had tried right clicking too, and I don't have "'copy image location" either. weird....

OK, what size files are you all using - and what type of file are they?

Well, it's 58K, and in jpg format.

Well, that just doesn't make sense. I've posted four pictures here now using the method I laid out, with no trouble at all, and yet three of you guys are having exactly the same problem. Totally totally wierd...

Hey guys, I have a question...what browsers are you using? That might have something to do with the difference in pop-up windows... right now I'm using IE, and don't have "copy image location" when I right-click an image... but I seem to remember that option on Netscape ...

I have no idea what could be causing the original problem (not seeing the image), though... :( Sorry.

Singin' Stray Cat may be onto something there - I use Netscape here, which is maybe why mine works but yours doesn't...

I use Internet Explorer, so I guess that's the problem.

I got an idea. Do exactly what you did last time, but instead of "Copy Image Location," see if "Copy Shortcut" works... c'mon, optimal! You can do it! Let's see that image! :D

Eh, Copy Shortcut was what i originally did. I'll have to look for Netscape on my computer. I think my dad may have taken it off.
