So, who are your favorite Space Ghost guests? Almost all of them are funny, but My faves are Mike Judge, Harland Williams, and when Joey Ramone were on.

-Dave Thomas ("The Justice Hole")- Worth mentioning just for the opening when he makes a deal with Zorak to shoot Space Ghost.
-Denis Leary ("Waiting For Edward")- Classic one-liners and the good ol' Denis Leary attitude towards SG ("I don't think you're that funny, quite frankly"; saying Space Ghost is his arch enemy)
-Erik Estrada/George Clinton ("Untitled")- Erik, merely because Moltar finally gets to meet his idol, and George Clinton for his funky hairdo.
-Merril Markoe ("Toast")- Her first appearance, "Zoltran", wasn't that great, but her second was hilarious because of her utter annoyance of Space Ghost and Zorak flirting successfully with her. "I love your body......of work."
-Pat Boone ("Dimethylpyridiminol Bisulfite")- Reading Space Ghost's head, making up the SG song, wearing sunglasses & chewing gum ("But lose the gum", "We need to get rid of the glasses, Pat.")
-Hanson ("Girl Hair")- Not a fan of them or their music, but they played an integral point in the plot (SG actually bumps 'em off so they won't talk!) and played well as the straight man to Space Ghost's wackiness.
-Mike Judge ("Sphinx")- Simply for hearing his Beavis & Butthead, Mr. Anderson, and Hank Hill voices.
-Bob Odenkirk & David Cross ("Gallagher")- They were ON the entire time, completely keeping up with Space Ghost's zaniness and having some truly funny lines. ("Which one of you is the straight man and who is the wacky sidekick?" "Oh, he's straight and I'm gay. Wait... what did you ask?")
-Martin Yan ("Cookout")- His "relax the chicken" exercises were a cut-up.
-Bill Manspeaker ("Freak Show")- Probably the most bizarre SG guest ever, he lasted less than a minute and really put on a crazy show.
-The cow ("Lovesick")- The first time I saw the cow rant I lost it.
-Joel Hodgson ("$20.01")- Didn't put up with Space Ghost at all, which made for some funny back-and-forth insults.
-David Byrne/Donny Osmond ("Fire Drill")- David for the uncomfortable and odd zoom-ins on Space Ghost's face, Donny for his obsession with winning the fight with Danny Bonaduce.

Whew, there's my best-of list!

Zorak Masaki

Charlton Heston, just for being a good sport as they kept poking fun at him.

definitely Martin Yan / Emerril. my all time fave.

Bonaducci (cant remeber his first name) just for his scream at the end that shattered the glas and de-stabilized Ghostplanet.

Elvira; SG: are you getting enough oxygen in there? Elvira: in the room , or my dress?

Weird Al: just becuase

the enitre Batmantis ep

"youre not Al Roker!" ^___^

on a side note I HATE it when the guests won't play along, it kills the rest of the show that's trying desperately to be funny aminds the uncooperative guest. the MST3K guy comes to mind, his bitter attitude ruined that ep.

Bjork, Robin Leach, Martin Yan, Emeril, Steve Allen. In that order.

I can partially agree to what you're talking about, but I far prefer bitterness to some of the guests that try SO hard to be wacky, like say Judy Tenuta and Weird Al. I think it work's better when the guests act more normal to balance out the episode more. And now I will name my favorite from each season.

1994: Schooly D (And not just because he later became the creator of the Aqua Teen intro) "Banjo"
1995: Sandra Bernhard (If only for the line "Yes I know what you're thinking, but I don't think I can say that on Cartoon Network") "Jerk"
1996: Matt Groening (I would like him back on Space Ghost again to talk about Futurama or something) "Glen Campell"
1997: Andy Dick (often overlooked because of Steve Allen's appearence in the same episode, Andy did a very good job, and preformed a mean shuffle at the end as well) "Boatshow"
1998: Michael Moore (And The sad part is I don't even know what he even did and he was still one of the better guests on the show) "Pal Joey".
1999: Conan O' Brian ("You were a space man that choked man that died when yo choked on a muffin". Yeah, he kinda became a jerk guest at the end, but hey, Space Ghost was chasing an ant, for no real reason). "Fire Ant"
2001: Tenacious D (I still would want them to preform they're "Wonder Boy" song though, it would have been better them what aired).

Busta Rhymes, Conan O'Brian, and David Cross and Bob Odenkirk.

Probably Adam Corrola, but that's only because he was hilarious on The Man Show. Other guests, I dunno. I haven't seen most of the older episodes since I got into it around the time when Adult Swim came along. I'm getting that SG DVD.

I understand, but also you have to understand that they are both comedians whose careers are based of that wacky persona. they have to act like that to maintain their leve of "professionalism"

like how Chris Farley ahd to always be "on" and going berserk and freaking out and stuff, cuz that's how the audience perceives him to always be.

H. Jon Benjamin, Conan O'Brien, & Tenacious D.

Tenacious D. Their song about the bicycle simply made the show for me. It was pure gold.

Martin Yan. The "exercises" and then slicing the chicken up and Space Ghost re-living it in slow motion over and over is probably one of my favorite moments in the entire show.

Mark Hamill was awesome in "Switcheroo" and I dare not forget Randy Savage.

I really feel sorry for Bjork after watching "Knifin' Around", but man...that was funny. I loved her comments to Space Ghost and then asking "What's your name again?" at the very end.

Finally, Mike Judge and Denis Leary. I loved Space Ghost and Mike Judge taking turns blasting Zorak, and Denis Leary...well, he's just funny.

This reminds me,what is the name of the episode where those pods will kill them if they fall asleep?

Oh, the pods? I don't remember the guest, but the ep was hillarious.

This reminds me,what is the name of the episode where those pods will kill them if they fall asleep? "Snatch", with guest Steven Wright (who gets killed by the pods when SG, Zorak, & Moltar go out for coffee!). Steven to a pod: "You should get that checked....or I admire it. I don't know the reaction you want! I fear you!"

Donny Osmonda was my Favorite Guests

Mibbitmaker

Conan O'Brien (his show is an equal to SGC2C - hell, AS in general - in surrealism and absurdist comedy, my favorite aspect of all the shows)

Bob & David, Mr. Show themselves (they played along with the SG format beautifully)

Gary Owens, original SG voice man (besides the fact I've found him very funny ever since Laugh-In, I just loved him saying "veeblefetzer", fan of classic Mad that I am!)

Bjork. Never mind Merril Markoe, this is the real Mrs. Space Ghost.

Conan O'Brien. "Don't take this the wrong way, but you represent all that is evil and unholy in the universe."

Emo Philips and Moby, just because they both annoy me, and it was great to see them eaten.

Despite the chance I may face severe riddicule for not remembering the guest:show ratio (you have to forgive, I don't have as many braincells as I did when I started watching C2C).... Was Donny Osmond the one who angrily said something about "I watch the show! I don't want you editing in some Panda footage!" and then they cut to a panda in the middle of his rant? (Weird Al maybe?)

Whoever that was, that made for good TV.

Busta for encouraging my state of incapacitation every freaking time I see Flipmode. I swear to this day I've never been sober or legally competent when they air that one.

Steven Wright's deadpan was great. Fantastic guest. Bjork made for a funny as hell episode too.

Also for the record, Mr. Show's (Bob and Dave) appearance got old the 2nd or 3rd time I saw it.
