Lemme just say that this week's Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Sealab 2021 are the greatest episodes ever to grace the television screen.

I'm assuming there's no ATHF because of the mixup last week... am I right?

Okay, this is for the action cartoons part. I watched episode 5 of Blue Gender and it wasn't that bad. Maybe it was the first episode that sucked because most first episodes of TV shows are pretty bad (especially if they're pilots), but this episode was interesting. Maybe Blue Gender is one of those series that's only good shown uncut on DVD, like Outlaw Star (not to say that OS sucks on CN. It's just that it was the edits I couldn't stand) and not on CN, when you consider the inconsistent edits for violence, the pointless edits for language (I can't believe one episode actually edited "hell". That word has been said dozens of times on AS, both action and comedy), and the consistent edits for sexual content (excluding two episodes where:Yuji and Elaina were in post-coital bliss and the next to last episode where Yuji and Marlene are having sex)

I think most of the WS pilots were good. Rabbot and Very Personal Injury were hilarious. "The hairy jeans." Hell, all of HB is hilarious.

OS was on Toonami during the "servere editing" period. If it was on Toonami now at current Toonami standards, it would be a lot less edited. Damns and stuff would still be edited, but it be would a lot looser. It would do better on AS, but that's probably not gonna happen. There's always the DVDs though. With episode 23 :D Yep. Anyway, FUNimation shows are always edited WAY too much. I'm glad BG is on DVD.

The editing guys are "careful." I don't know if that needs to be in spoilers, but what the hell. I love the term "post-coital bliss"

Not all series have sucky first episodes. I can name off the top of my head three series whose first episode is one of their best. (One of them only if you count intended first episode. The first shown was the worst of the series. Which is one of the many reasons FOX Exec. stupidity can be blamed for it only lasting 15 episodes and 11 showings. Other reasons include giving it the worst timeslot not already taken by Futurama and barely any advertising.[/RANT]) And almost all of Adult Swim Comedy have on-par or better first eps.

Why thank you.

That's exactly how www.animenewsnetwork.com (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com) described it

I don't usually watch Space Ghost but I watched this epoisode and it just happened to be probably my favorite one. The whole phone message thing is great. Then like halfway through when they just start going crazy and shoot Zorak over and over. I also just like seeing Mike Judge do all those voices.

Looks like Monday's Futurama and FG episodes both have anti-TV comments at the end, but, both have something else in common.

Futurama got the Hypnotoad, while FG have that family fight.

I like the family fight the best, since I know about this, since they have a promo in the Summer for AS' airing. So does the way Peter walked at the ending! :D

What happened to the 5-min Clone Wars episodes that were on your schedule? I see you've removed them. Was there a change in plan? I was looking forward to seeing them. (^_*)

I liked how last nights Futurama and Family Guy's themes seemed to blend together, really cool scheduling co-inki-dink or intentional irony on WS's part.

Yeah. Too bad they couldn't air Aqua Teen Hunger Force's "Universal Re-Monster" and it would of been a triple ending slam to TV for the night. But oh well.

I just found another reference in FLCL,Kitsuribami and her whole gun shooting at Canti could be a reference to Seres Victoria in Hellsing.

IIRC, according to the Gainax producers, FLCL kinda tells the story of Gainax in that each ep is a reference to a previous Gainax project. Try figuring that out. :D
