As with the rules of this board, I follow them. And if that makes no sense, the rules of engagment allows me to do that. Here is the synopsis of the new Samurai Jack episode in a few minutes-
Aku sneezes on Jack and Jack starts to become evil.
Sounds intresting. Be sure to catch it.

Where The Fark is Everybody To Do The Samuari Jack Episode Review of "The Aku Infection".
I don't know why no one's posting. Did everyone get sick like Jack or something? Anyway, this was a good episode. Nice to see a struggle between Jack's will against Aku's evil inside him (although at the end, they never did resolve whatever happen to that guy who was hanging off the cliff. Oh well, nothing can be done about that). I'm a bit bitter because of no one posting, so I will give this episode an A- and move on.

I don't think most people realized it was on tonight. I almost forgot myself.
Anyway, decent episode. It had karate geckos after all.
I want a screenshot of the shot of Jack's allies when he was recovering from the infection. I know I saw the Scotsman and the Creature, but there were a lot more people there. Anyone see the Thief (aka Jigen) in there?

I thought the episode rocked. Of course, that doesn't say much, because it seems to me that I have very low standards. (At least, compared to many on this board. :))

Cool episode nice to see that even the invincible Aku can be taken down by the common cold :D , Gecko Monks, evil AkuJack or Jacku  , and lots of cameos. Sweet.

Anyone see the Thief (aka Jigen) in there?
I thought the same thing when I saw that episode. Too bad that gem broke. I guess he had Jigen's good luck until the end and then bad luck.

Very low standards compared to these boards? Shirley you jest! :p
Most people's critique grades here probably average at A at the lowest! [1]
Always reminds me of the inflated grades at the Ivy League colleges. :D
[1] A hyperbole, yes. But it gets the point across. :p

i almost missed the episode myself. luckily my brother had the t.v on to cartoon network at the time. in any case...
hee hee, it was pretty funny to see aku sick. i geuss even evil can't defeat the common cold.
is it me or was jack a little dense in this episode. hello! big clawed black hand! thats a sign of something wrong!
whoo hoo! kung fu geckos! have to admit their cool and kinda cute.
that scene with jack was fighting the infection inside himself was very sweet. not to mention it was nice to see some old chars again, even if only for a minute or two.
all and all a pretty good episode.

Very enjoyable ep! Like everyone else, I was tickled to see Aku brought low by a pesky infection ("I don't feel good...") I've never come closer to feeling sorry for him.
Also good for a laugh:
The gem miners bickering like a couple of Jewish shop keepers (a bit steriotyped, perhaps, but in an original setting.)
Jack's good and bad sides arguing with each other (a possible Two Face ref there?)
The reptilian Shaolin monks (perhaps we should call them Shaolizards.)
And it was actually heart-warming to view the roster of all the peoples Jack has helped, sending him their good wishes to aid his fight against the possessor.
One bothersome detail: I noticed among his supporters was the wish-granting fairy from 'Tales of the Samurai'- an indication those 'Tales' actually happened. If they did, I want to know how Jack managed to escape from the innards of the two-headed worm.

Ha! I wasn't the only one to see the Two Face paralells! The bickering, and also the way his face looked when the infection spread to it--the deformed lips and never-closing eye. The only thing they were missing was the streak of white in Jack's hair. :D

It was a totally cool episode. I didn't expect to see those monks fighting Jack.

Um, it would be nice if CN would stop advertising for Star Wars and start advertsiting time changes and new eps for things. I've missed He-Man and Jack this past week because of their ****ing changes.

I kinda have to agree on that. They need more commericals for the premieres (I like the fact they have a seperate commerical for each new episode premiere. The only problem? THEY NEED TO SHOW IT MORE!!!!!!. I never thought I would say that about promotion for a CC Toon on Cartoon Network, but it's true).

They still keep at least one schedule online (albeit one that takes a while to download.) It's here:

Toilet. I missed it as well. And I love the idea of Jack as Two Face. Thing is, since we got it earlier over here, it's probably been repeated already, so I've missed that too. I really am being useless.
(first ever post! :) Hurrah!)

>chuckles< Am I weird for seeing a sort of sadistic humor in all of this? Everyone has been waiting for this episode for months, and when it finally does air, everybody misses it because CN decides to be low-key about it. Ha. Ha ha. >shakes head< :D

GAH! I missed it! NOOOOOO!!!!
When does it repeat? ;_;
according the online CN sched, not this month
so much for the traditional weekend encore presentations of new episodes
the SVES was the perfect timeslot for repeating it, instead they aired XXII (The Imakandi)
time for my Mojo impersonation (ahem): CURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSESSSS!!!!!!!
btw XLII was "Da' Samurai".
"The Aku Infection" must be XLIII

if you're like me....and hundreds of other Samurai Jack fans, you missed the stealth premiere of this episode back in early November. Instead of the customary encore repeats we viewers are used to, CN shelved it. Now two months later, it returns. Tonight, Jan 11th 2004 at 10:30pm. Boo-yaa!!!
Let the Infection begin!!!

Hey, this was a good one. No boring save-a-village story or endless robot slashing. Probably my favorite so far.

I went merging alooooooooooong, on Toon Zone baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
I could here the voices singiiiiiiiiiiiing, they seem to say.... MERGE!
Seeing as there was an old talkback for the episode, I just merged the old with the reminder.
As for the episode, it was still good seeing Jack slowly being turned into Jacku. Definatley one of the good episodes.
