I noticed that there are a few Cartoon Cartoons that are sorta similair to classic cartoons. Here are a few of my examples...

1. Time Squad Vs. Peabody's Improbable History (A. both go into the past to try to correct history. B. both had a red haired boy adopted)
2. Courage the Cowardly Dog Vs. Scooby Doo (A. both cowardly dogs. B. always have to defeat creatures such a zombies and mummies)
3. I Am Weasel Vs. Bugs and Daffy (A. two animals that are sorta "enemies". B. One of them will be loved, while the other is hated and wants to be rid of the loved one)
4. Sheep in the Big City Vs. Rocky and Bullwinkle (well...they're both simalair with show styleing, sarcastic narrator, and "don't miss our next episode...")

You guys think of any others?

Well, its "classic" status is certainly up for debate, but the Powerpuff Girls are a pretty obvious bit of satire on Sailor Moon. (-:

I noticed that there are a few Cartoon Cartoons that are sorta similair to classic cartoons. Here are a few of my examples...

1. Time Squad Vs. Peabody's Improbable History (A. both go into the past to try to correct history. B. both had a red haired boy adopted)I knew someone would make that comparison (besides me) and I semi-disagree. Time Squad is similar to Histeria! (both shows screw with history for entertainment purposes. Both shows had Rob Paulsen on it. Both shows had a loud, semi-annoying kid on it), only it doesn't have Histeria's variety show format.

2. Courage the Cowardly Dog Vs. Scooby Doo (A. both cowardly dogs. B. always have to defeat creatures such a zombies and mummies)Yeah, but with Courage, the monsters are real, there's no "meddling kids", and there's no Scrappy Doo-like character (unless you count that Chinese guy with the flower flip-flops who had that robotic dog).

3. I Am Weasel Vs. Bugs and Daffy (A. two animals that are sorta "enemies". B. One of them will be loved, while the other is hated and wants to be rid of the loved one)Oh, you missed the obvious one: Cow and Chicken vs. Ren and Stimpy. Both are badly drawn shows with gross-out/surreal/sexual humor that people either love with a passion or treat like garbage.
