I decided to make a KotZ talkback in case anyone is actually still watching this and because I didn't see one made. This episode was actually decent.

Some highlights:
Sienna going to Seiya's house and seeing him without a shirt on. :D
Sheryu's (I don't know how his name is spelled) master named Master Roshi.

Maybe I just liked this ep because it was on late and I like late night tv. I dunno. Anyway, discuss.

Well, they were supposed to call him roshi as in "teacher", but that's not his name. Then again, I'm talking about the real series :P

So now we can't even see skeleton warriors take direct hits? That's it, I'm done. Call me if something good happens.

To be honest, I stopped watching KotZ. Watching this mockery of the real series feels even worse for fans of StS, than for people who're only hating this version. Maybe something good can come out of this though, like DiC never getting their hands on anime series again, or them realizing their butchering methods are not supported in this day and age.

As a side note, ADV's dub is damned good. Too bad that one wasn't aired, what a waste.

GIVE ME A FREAKING BREAK!!!

What?! DIC doesn't want kids to go to the graveyards and mash skeletons!?

Anyway I missed it because it was my birthday and friends took me out to eat.

I personally liked Mu's altered line "Feel the pain." :anime:

KotZ has turned from bad to decent. Which I suppose means that at this point Saint Seiya turns from good to really good. Or something.

So yeah, the whole tournament thing was just to introduce the characters and wasn't done well enough to make it interesting, at least not in the DiC dub. But now that other stuff is going on it's watchable. Not that they're avoiding the standard clichés of the genre, but hey, can't ask for everything.

Ok Shiryu is at the risk of losing his powers again,
I guess he's gonna be there a couple docen times in the series (It's cool to be a DIC's knight 'cause U never risk your life only your powers :anime: )

And if U saw the preview for the next episode U saw Shiryu getting a little pale after he gave his "powers" to resuscitate the cloths, it looked more like he donated a lot of blood ;) if U know what I mean. ;)

I knew that those stupid changes to the series weren't gonna change but C'on it's aftermidnight. We can take BLOOD and DEATH..

PS. like someone else already sayed LONG LIVE SAINT SEIYA!!!!

Thanks man.

And I think that Shiryo's most painful sacrifice will beedited like:

Instead of poking his eyes in the fight vs the Perseus silver saint, he will "Lose his sight power"

Don't worry, the series will probably be cancelled by then :)

Yeah that or he is gonna keep his eyes closed by his own will(like Shaka), then they make up that he is doing that just for his training or something like that, or maybe if he opens his eye he will lose his  Knightly powers  .

Very likely, I wanna see how he will:

How will they edit the way Shiry "cures" Seiya after he got poisoned by the Dark Ryuseiken, how will they explain the danger of Shiryu's performing the raising dragon in his weakened state and how will Black Dragon will save Shyryu from bleeding to death.

Shiryu will risk his powers again :( And Seiya just fell from a cliff and just risks his powers also.

Most likely the edits DiC planned have all been finished even before the timeslot shift, so it's too late to change now. Besides, since DiC made the edits so they can sell (ratings or videos) to kids, it's doubtful they'd change their tactic now and risk a backlash from the kids' parents who already bought into it.

And I think that Shiryo's most painful sacrifice will be edited like:

It's one thing to be poked and temporarily injure the eyes; it's another thing to lose the eyes and be permanently blind. If it ever gets there, DiC may probably say it's just a poke in the eyes with no serious injury.

Seiya and Siena getting embarrassed over a missing shirt is so 80's Japan. :D
BTW, the Shiryu ripping thru his shirt thing is a cliche fanservice to the ladies. Too bad fighting male fans and nostalgic old-timers are the only ones who'd be interested anymore.

There's a lot more where that came from...hell, it's practically his signature move.

Don't remember that one. I remember Saga's but not Shun's.

About how they R gonna go around the Shiryu's curing Seiya, that's gonna be a tough to change and make up something diferent but then again we R talking about DIC, still I think they are just gona edit that part.

To lostrune; C'on they R only thirteen year old kids of course they R gonna be embarrassed about a missing shirt, that would happen during tha 80s and during this times too.
