I'm wondering whatever happened to Rudy doing the news, definitely an interesting choice to clean up Brak and the desk though.

Solomun Grundy wants pants too!
Sunday, I think traditional ads replace the B&W cards.

I think Brak's head shrunk too. Dont quote me on that, but I am pretty sure his elliptical shaped squash got a wee bit smaller.
And judging by the difference in brightness I'd also say Brak found out what laundry detergent is used for. <-----sentence ended with preposition...teh horror!

You must have seen those AS ads that had some guy running around in the woods. They did mention something about new promos airing Sunday, but I'm not sure if the black and white cards are gonna go away anytime soon. That's just what I think.

Blasphamy! I WIL KILL AL TEH A.S. STAF AND THER MUTHORS!
Nah, it's nice that they care, but I liked when it was obvious it was reused stock footage. Added to the comedy.

It's like the American Flag, they just added more white things to it.

I think the AS.com board mods are saying the new promos will complement, not replace, the cards.

They probably just cleaned it up to look better on TV. Tyler L has too much free time. Let's face it, that marking on the desk looked like someone squeeze Meatwad too hard. Windex works miracles.

Brak: Hi, this is Brak with the Adult Swim news. If you looked around the wall you would see that it's a slightly diffrent color with more dots around and that I finally cleaned my shirt. I have the same problem too. Good thing I'm switching to Direct TV in a few weeks! Take that lousy Comcast!

you still won't see it. all major cable/satellite providers will COB it out (Comcast, Cox, Optimum, DirecTV, Dish Network...).

well then, does anyone do transcripts of them? i'd like to know what happens in them.

Well I guess we can try to put someone in charge of the news transcript who actually gets them (Since I don't get them, I only make fake ones) or something like that.

Adelphia never COBs me. I could theoretically do the Adult Swim News transcripts, but my VCR's a ****tard and it's a hassle to tape thing. Actually, my VCR works fine. I'm just using it to cover for my laziness.

I would like to thank this thread for reminding me what COB meant
in other news. I'm happy to sdee the original (and most recogniseable) Brak stock footage. I always liked the "new" stock animation SGC2C got arond the time of the "new' theme song (like Zorak sipping the gcoffe, and him slamming his hands down angrilly ont he table) it always looked.....better than the "one time stuff" like SG in the bananna suit. I cna't describe it better thna that cuz I don't know the techniques/animation studios used for the varying animation.

out here in Provo (Utah) we have two options: Provo Cable and Comcast. So far Provo cable has not cursed us with advertisements in the place of AS:News.
