On-topic: Why does some of the voice acting in this show sound so bored? Just curious.
Off-topic: I would expect to see more in-depth Clone Wars promotion to begin tonight.

Off-Topic: Not yet, but there was the November premieres commerical, which I expect to be pimped... a lot. Probably just as much as Clone Wars. If not more so.

When I read the descriptions for the Season 2 episodes, this was the only one I didn't like. I think this will be the only weak episode of the season.

Shouldn't the Clone Wars talk go in the "Anything Else" thread, or another thread on its own.
Hey that gives me an idea.
The one council member reminds me of Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
The dragons look like Tri-Horned Dragons from Yu-Gi-Oh!

First half was actually alright. Cool. And the mechanical dragons reminded of the blue Genousaurer.

Blegh, medicore episode. Matt's on topic comment at the beginning of this thread was right, the voice-actors do sound bored, especially Gary Chalkk in tonight's episode. Man-At-Arms was annoying,as was Orko, and those horrible Dragon Walkers as well. An C-

Paraphrasing... "You may be the court jester, Orko, but you're no fool !"
That line alone makes this episode perfect. I don't care what anybody else thinks.
That really was quite boring (as usual). *nominates He-Man for most consistently boring show of the year*

What intellegent and epic feeling episode! The complainers of too much he-man cheese and being too kiddy they have no defense this ep! Skeletor minions were not bumbling but showed intellegence, good side knew about the attack coming from snake mt as well. When He-man did talk he had cool lines. OMG! Place in eternia that is extremely beautiful, nice change of pace from barren look that been attributed to lazy animation comments all over. Finally something showing Orko as he was made to be and not annoying dense little idiot they made him be so far.
Nice ending it had original series feel. Alot improvements were made by anyone actually watched episode.
While we dont get full hour of adult tooning like JL this is closest the show has gotten yet to expanding behind its base nerdy little crowd, and appealing to adults like BTAS, etc. I think I send this over to brother actually, its good enough even he might enjoy.
Man I hope this is what to expect from Season Two! Way to go everyone worked on this ep!

Look, the Masters of the Universe have Zoids!
My thought exactly:D This was an alright episode, with the new council having its first meeting and Skeletor trying to crash the party. So yeah, Orko finally got a little action and was good for something. Yay for Orko:p

Like many, I was really dreading this episode and didn't expect much from it. And while it wasn't on par like the last three episodes, I was surprised and actually enjoyed it.
Not that this whole show is a toy commercial, but episodes like Anwat Gar with the samurai figures, and the episode with Ice Armor He-Man blatantly used those concepts to sell those figures. Not that this episode didn't, but the Dragon Walkers were tied in nicely to the story.
Next week I can't wait for...
Episode 29- Out of the Past
Written by Dean Stefan
Teela is drawn to a small village where she gets further clues about her past.
Man, Dean has written quite a few episodes this season so far. The first 3 plus The Power of Grayskull later on. He wrote the two part Council of Evil as well. Him, Steve Melching(Snake Pit, the upcoming Rise of the Snake Men pt 1 and 2) and Larry DiTillio should be the only writers for this show.

I wonder how long will Teela and co. be fooled by the whole "Adam is looking for He-Man"-cliche before they become suspicious.
"How come Adam always get look for He-Man." The episode was so-so for me.

Didn't really like this episode. I thought it was funny though when Roboto asked Man at arms if he could help and Man at arms was just like go away you annoy me or somethig like that.:p
I did enjoy some of the music though. I don't know if they are using different music then before or if I'm just noticing it now, but when the Serpent things were attacking the tower at the end I liked what they were playing.

I enjoyed the ep too, it fit the "toys" in well and brought back the dragon and Serpentor (?) sub plot fomr the first season.
who was the councilman with orange fur and silver armor?
They should have done a better job with Roboto, he COULD have been with them the whole time, it would have worked better than "Oh, hi, I'm roboto, ned help? no? ok" "wait Roboto has a spare fuel cell"
Roboto also had a FLYING vehicle that probably could have gotten to the palace quicker, but we would have lost out on the exploding fuel cell bit.
nice to see the writers trying to incorporate Stinkor into the show more often and not just keeping him around as a lingering fart joke. Now lets see what they do with Two-Baad and EvilSeed.
B+ back to the ugly grey shading, even my little bro noticed "why are they grey?"

This was an ok episode for me. I thought it was neat idea Adam came up with to construct Zoid looking dragons (which is not bad looking) to distract those serpents from attacking the high council meeting. Also witnessing the hordes of dragons fly in with that cool music playing was very neat.
Was I the only one who thought that they wanted Orko to be bait for the dragons? I could imagine Orko saying to the dragons: "Hey remember me? I used your kids as juggling balls! Try and catch me!" That's what I thought at first when Man-at-arms ordered him to go with Stratos.
It is nice they are reusing those serpentators and the dragons again. Also seeing Stinkor use his powers to do something useful surprise me.

1. They should really consider holding a conference room safely underground (or close), like the United Nations do (you don't see Kofi Annan conducting sessions at the roof).
2. Man-at-Arms could sure design and build weapons fast. Wonder why he hasn't mechanized the whole infantry yet? :D

You would think that with all those spy globes at his disposal Skeletor would just have them follow He-Man around and discover that he's Prince Adam.

Just some low-grade filler after the big three part episode.
Ongoing continuity references continue to = teh win.

I just watched it, and it was good, but nothing spectacular like the last bunch of episodes. Had an interesting plot, but there was just something missing from it. Either that or just getting the first issue to "The Rise of the Snake Men" comic and last week's ep had me hyped up for the arrival of the Snake Men this week. Hopefully next week.

No Snake Men next week either. See my other post in this thread about what next week's episode is about. Saturday November 8th will finally be Rise of the Snake Men Part One.

It has to be extremely clear that Roboto is useful in order to sell toys, but it did seem like he was begging.
