Should this thread be here??? No, the entertainment board is best suited for this.
And to answer your question, we shouldnt beleave it, they just wanna sound like good wholesome parents and look good doin it. I dont think that there gonna tell what really happened.

In a dramatic form of hot potato, we have moved to the Cafe where this type of thing goes. ;)

why would they lie about this whole ordeal? do you think they faked it, or gained something from it? even if they did lie about something, don't you think the detectives who spent MONTHS on the case would've said something?? along the lines of "whoa, hey, that's not what you said 4 months ago".

They could not have lied about it, but they look like a pretty creepy family all the same. They kind of remind me of Sissy Spacek's mom in Carrie.

Elizabeth Smart, girl! That teenage girl from the creepy mormon family who was kidnapped by some bums and later found brainwashed.

I dunno just seems really really weird.. Alot of things just don't add up. I haven't heard the interview, but just think theres something really fishy about alot of the things.

They have a reputation that could be tainted if we were to believe anything but their story.
even if they did lie about something, don't you think the detectives who spent MONTHS on the case would've said something??
iirc they have accused 2 different men in her kidnapping who weren't it.
I don't trust that they know what they are doing.
sidenote:They are both dead.
along the lines of "whoa, hey, that's not what you said 4 months ago".
I bet you can keep your lies straight.
That teenage girl from the creepy mormon family who was kidnapped by some bums and later found brainwashed.
No one ever said she was brainwashed.
Is the french diary a fabrication or authentic?

BECAUSE ITS GONNA BE ON TV. TV= ENTERTAINMENTI never really thought of news as a form of entertainment, but I guess it could be so. Still, the entertainment board hardly seems the place to discuss Bush's foreign policy and partial birth abortion! :D

Yes, some of the media did. "Allegedly" should be the key word here.
