Good to see the twins are back. But I won't be able to see it tonight, since I am going to be heading out to a campus party at around ten tonight. Fortunately, I can catch it on Sunday at 4:30pm EST.

Return of The Weird Hat Duo and Skipping School In The Whatever Happened To Robot Jones Episode Review of "The Yogmans Strike Back"/ "Hookie 101"
"The Yogmans Strike Back"- This segment had incredibley unfocused pacing. Yogmans chase robot and try to get his brain, Robot's friends save him, Yogman's make new plan and hypnotize robot's friends, Robot manages to defeat his hypnotizied friends. Sometimes it seemed to fast, othertimes to slow. And it didn't have that solid an ending either. However, the chase scene in the darkened room (with Robot vrs Cubie Socks and Mitch) gives this segment a B despite off kilter storytelling.
"Hookie 101"- Here's What I learned in this episode
A: Playing hookie in a group, you have two personalities: The cool guys who know what they're doing and the we're scared and don't want to get caught guys.
B. The busdriver dosen't care if you play hookie or not.
C. Robot Jones can still get away with some very risky innuendo ("I was violated by a peeping tom!").
D. Apparently, Giant monsters live and freezers and you can help them just by giving 15 cents to help keep the freezer cold.
E. Don't piss off Dad Unit, espically when he's in anger mode.
These lessons earn the segment an A-
Overall: B+

"they didnt' change the voices of his parents, did they?"
No. Grey De Lisle is still the voice of Mom Unit. I don't know about Dad Unit.
Highlights of "The Yogmans strike Back" included the hyponitze scene and "President Ray Gun." Out of 5, I give it 2.5.
Highlights of "Hookie 101" included the Ice Monster, Dad Unit kicking ass, and the Principal going to Jones' house reminded me of Ferris Buller.
Out of 5, I give it 4.

I just noticed this now. Haven't we moved passed whining about Robot Jones new voice, Red Giant? It's not that bad.

yeah.. haven't seen the new ep, but the new voice isn't too bad, though I do prefer the older voice.
I'm less lenient, though, on how they've altered the old episodes to put in the new voice. That's a cardinal sin, as far as I'm concerned; you don't do that. (It's like magically replacing Original Darrin with New Darrin in OD's eps of Bewitched)

I'm suprised nobody mentioned two obvious references in The Yogmans Strike Back (excluding the title)
1) The hypnosis screen was from the opening of one of the Scooby Doo series (Scooby Doo, Where Are You?, I believe)
2) The line "Welcome to your doom!", which is originally from the game Altered Beast.
There could have been more, but those were all I caught.

Yeah, there was a very obvious one when the older Yogman bro was standing in front of a mirror in a meditation chamber that looked just like that of Darth Vader's in The Empire Strikes back.
*uses GIR like voice* "I love this show."

Its time again for another oen of my reviews that no one reads!
Yogmans Strike Back: It was nice seein the Yogmans again, this episode was kinda strange though... Its hard to explain, although the AV room looked cool, and getting through the weirdness of the plot and stuff, id give it a B.
Hookie 101: A pretty good episode, better than the first segment. With the Principal looking for the students, and the Dad bot kicking ass, Id give it an A.
Overall Grade: B++/A--
Yay.

People let stupid things get in the way of their enjoyment of a show.
Now that's the truth. ;)
Anyway, I would agree that the first part of the show was a little more unusual than what I normally see on the show. But I liked how Robot just kept on grabbing the spitball like they were pellets in Pac-Man. It was good to see the twins again.
And the second half was great because it reminded me so much of Ferris Bueller's Day Off. And I especially liked that little bit of innuendo that Robot used. I love how this show can get away with so many things!

Yeah, Robot's voice hasn't hindered the show for the past few episodes.
It's still strong.
