This may be the stupidest thread ever, so please don't flame me.
Okay the idea is this, all the other forums have talkbacks for things. So I though why not a talkback for a month, it is just like any other talkback, except this talkback is about how you felt about the month of October. You don't have to get too personal, just post whatever you want. And after your initial post you can post your feelings on Halloween or anything else you want to mention
Only two rules:
1)No vugarity of course, we don't need to hear about you, your partner, and what you did the other night. So don't post anything you wouldn't post on another thread.
2)Do not get too far into subjects that belong in other thread, you can say you were happy about the new season of Smallville, but a full fledged review belongs in the entertainmet board.
Okay, so please post your feeling about october, or flame me if you want. And if your mod and you think this is really stupid and is just takin up space, you can get rid of it.
My moth was okay, I started to loose touch with three of my friends, it's a shame but I don't really mind. I've started to get better in school, and hoefully I will be able to do better next "cycle." And hopefully hopefully I will actually be able to get in the college I want to get into.
I've started writing short stories again, after writing mostly plays and poems for a while. I've also started me newest play. Earlier in the month I bumped into this girl who had cheated on her boyfriend with me a couple of monthes ago, I was very happy to learn they are still together and very much in love.
Overall it was a pretty good month.

I had a birthday (Thanks Outlander for the greeting)
I had work everyday (monday through friday)
Some fun stuff happened
It was snowing today when I left home...bad times.
My best friend told me he was going to propose to his girlfriend (Congrats! :) )....and that the batchelor party would be in Amsterdam.
*upped my life insurance, just in case*
I fell up my stairs a few times.
Red Sox lost to the Yankees...again more bad times
The Pats kicked butt.

Since October is a part of Fall and I don't like Fall, I don't like October. Thus, the month is only 'okay'.
Going to try and see if I can get some kids to donate candy to me on Halloween 'cause the Man is denying Digu Volz his fix.
Almost got arrested for carrying a chef's knife. Speaking of which, vegetarian chili is under-rated.
Tired of getting up at six in the morn' for an afternoon class.
Am wishing my 'fro would grow more quickly.
Computer died a second time. but it Got Better.
Have a dedication to attend tomorrow.

This has been a "meh" month for me. Nothing special. Just endless piles of work. The floor of my parents bathroom is rotting, so we have to fix that. The Tae Kwon Do school I go to had its roof rot on it. The road I have to take to get to my Dojo is being torn up. Which makes it harder to get there. It was hard before, but now...
By the way, I really like this idea Blue Wolf. Let's have one every month.

October is my favorite month. Unfortunately, it's also the Month of Hell in terms of midterms, assignments and essays. :P I think I'm going to have to skip Halloween. :(

Thanks, I was thinking of doing that if I got a good reaction for this thread. So If I get a good number of posts you'll probably be seeing a November Talkback. Oh, I posted my feelings on October above.

Blue, I think having a talkback thread like this is great. A better way to get to know each other and so on. We should do it every month. :)
October.. what's there to say. College has been so SO stressful and money consuming for this poor art major student. All this month has practically been surrealist art [sexual crap] in my Art History III class. I don't think I did to well on the midterm. I also treated my essay about surrealism like crap. My Computer Graphics class is a joke. The name suggest 3D computer work [duh, it's why I'm a computer graphics major] yet all we are doing is photoshop and soon illustrator!   In Graphic Design we are finsishing up our symbols by making differnt stuff with them. I HATE my symbol. Originally "light/eclipse" and now because of all class input it looks like a moon in a bubble! Drawing class is till annoying me, my professor has like nothing I've done so far and has us constantly drawing still life of junk he finds. Then there's my favourite class, Art of Poetry. The only draw back I get is getting migrane's after trying to interpret all the stuff. The midterm was fun. Only 6 out of 32 finished. Well, that's it with school life. All my classes are 4 hours long, so I ge burned out quickly. :(
The main thing going on with me this month... I keep mentally planning how I am going to make an art piece but I never get around to doing them. I'm very surprised I managed to get 2 of my pieces up on the drawing board.
That's it really.

Yeah, you should. This is a good idea.
As for my month, school, softball conditioning, and yeah. I ordered Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal, and watching that was the highlight of my month since it was so good. Yeah, homework and tests and coniditioning 3 days a week.
I was sad when the Braves lost in the playoffs, but I've still watched the playoffs. The World Series has been good (Go Marlins!) So pretty much I've had a slow month.

I'm glad that October is the longest month of the year, since it's always my favorite! :)

I read Pet Sematary in about eight or nine days.
My birthday was Friday (and I've felt crappy all weekend, sick-like).
Halloween is coming up.
The weather's cooling down.
I'd say October is pretty cool, like most every year.
