I was remembering this one date that I had when I was really sick. I was hanging out with my best friend and I started feeling really sick(Btw I haven't eaten anything that day) anyway my friend tells me that this boy that I liked for awhile wanted to go to the movies with me.I told them I don't feel well and that I don't want to go, so they kept asking until I said yes.I told them I needed to lay down for a little bit, when it was time to go to the movies they had to practically dragged down the hill to get me to the bus. While we were waiting for the bus I was talking to the guy that I was on the date with and all of a sudden I puked.Luckily for me noone said anything about it but I was quite embarrassed.Anyway my best friend told him that I wasn't feeling well and that I haven't ate anything today,so he starts to try to feed me some Chips( :o ).I ate one but told him I didn't want anymore. So we get on the bus and I'm just feeling really crummy and my date keeps trying to feed me chips I ate a few but didn't really say much to him. When we got to the movies I fell asleep(and I tend to drool in my sleep  ) He woke me up when the movie was over but on the way back home I still haven't really said anything to him. When I got home I just gave him a hug and went straight in my house and went to sleep.
Surprisely enough me and the guy became a couple and dated for a little while, and he never said anything bad about that date. :)
Are there any disastrous dates that anyone else would like to share? :D

This one girl I used to date, all we ever did was "rent movies" and "stay in." We decided to, one night, actually go out for once and do something that didn't include...... "movies."
So, we went for a late night hike and I hated it. I was tired, I had to work in the morning and ontop of that I'm afraid of heights and we ended up on cliffs n' junk.
I tried to bite my lip, but an absolute endless stream of "clever" sarcasm came gushing out about the entire time and I just couldn't stop complaining!
I never saw her after that.
Heh, no biggey. We didn't have much in common anyway.... except for liking the same "movies." ;)

I dated some girl who had a moustache once. People who knew her insisted that she was definitely a girl.
Some girls need to remember to shave regularly...

well, being known as socially inept. i've had ONE date...well, maybe two. anway, the one true date i had was kind of awkward. we're still friends, but we realized we don't have much in common, even though i think she's the most beautiful thing i've ever seen...

I've had a couple akward dates. And the hardest part is just trying to end the date.
You've met for coffee, made the small talk, and now you want to go home. But the guy's still chatting away. Very hard to leave politely sometimes. Anyone else had that?
And on the occasion I'm thinking of it was too early to do the "it's late and I have to go to bed, so bye." I think I ended up just asking if he would walk me to my car. (As in, "can you walk me to my car, because this date is over now.")
guh. dating. *shivers*

Thank goodness I'm way too young to date. Kids are bragging about "going out" already. Eugh...

You're not too young. I know you dont want to, but some kids start dating around your age (along with smoking)

gee that was a "clever" use of quotations, I wonder what you and that "girl" did while "together" at home with your movies.

Maybe I'll be making a new thread later... hee hee
Alex is right Proto start going out and light up. Just kidding, go at your own pace, you'll date when your ready.
I don't have dates or girlfriends, there are some girls I am friends with we hang out, and every now and then we make out, wow that sentence gave me a new apreciation for my life.
I did go on a couple of dates before I decided that dating wasn't for me, yet. Anyway one date... blind date kind of, met the girl on the phone and asked her out on the phone... the date was at the psych ward at Coney Island Hospital.

I knew that and. Everyone will go on a date at least once in their lives, unless they get ht by meteors or go back in time and accidently kill themselves which causes the whole universe to explode because of a time paradox.

Kids DO start dating at 13 nowadays, but I personally think it's too young. And there's a lot of pressure to do it which is probably what Proto Dude is feeling.
I haven't had anything that qualifies as a "date," and I'd like to pass the buck and contribute it to the hyper-sexual nature of middle school. I mean, once everyone hooks up and decides who's "hot" in seventh grade, you're kind of left out of the loop.
I expect my first date to be disastrous. But I'd just like to go on one.

If I had a tv sound effects CD, I'd play the "Whooooo![whistle]" sound effect

My friends and I are all single, so we double dated on prom night so we wouldn't feel like dorks. I was really looking forward to dressing up and re-inacting all of the slow dance scenes from my favorite Disney movies (I'm not the only girl who does that....right?) :p
First, my friends and I went to a nice restaurant. Then we went to the club where the prom was being held. After that, everything went downhill. The prom was HORRIBLE!! The stupid prom comitee booked a club that was way to small to hold our senior class of 700. The people were packed in like sardines!!
When I went into the dance room, it was filled with people "funk dancing" (for those who don't know, "funk dancing" means trying to have sex while standing with your clothes on). It was disgusting! The smell of that room....*shudder*
The DJ didn't play one single slow song (just rap and "funk dance" music) I DIDN'T GET TO SLOW DANCE, DAMMIT!!!
The worst part is that my friends and I spent so much money on prom tickets. We could have just stayed in the nice restaurant and we would have had a much nicer time. :(
