just noticed throgh some of the treads that we have a whole bunch of people on the Board here from Maryland. Where are the state are you guys from? I'm from Prince Georges County myself. Split my time time between College Park and Bowie, though I'll soon be in CP on a permanent basis when I get my apartment.

We should all get together sometime, like at Arundell Mills or someplace like that.

Closet of Comics - they seemed to have a pretty decent selection, were willing to do a lot of special orders, and the people were the least scariest I saw in all of the comic shops I visited. That, and I get to check out all the cute college chicks when school is in session. ;) :D

Hmmm...

well, York's not really in Maryland.... but

Because of I-83, and PA74 (AKA MD165) I spend nearly all of my free time in Bel Air and Aberdeen.

(and yes, in York we're Ravens and Orioles Fans. NOT phillies pirates steelers or eagles.)

I mean heck, the York Galleria even has an Orioles Store.

hehe you know where I'm from. I split my time between home and State College, PA. Don't know where I'll be after that.

I'll let you know when I visit my friends down at UMBC, but that won't be for a long time, I won't be home until winter break.

I went to college in York, this man speaks the truth. York is only 45 minutes from Baltimore if traffic ain't too bad.

Kind of a late-comer, but hey.

I'm from Maryland, born and raised in the same place - Baltimore County.
Timonium, to be more precise. n_n;

It's sort of interesting, actually... Since most of the other boards I visit have few (if any) folks from around here.

Weatherman

No, but it sounds like we should get together some time. Anyone here pther then me planing to go to AnimeUSA in November?

Sanwich, does the name Caitlin Wynchgram mean anything to you? She's a friend of mine from the UMBC anime club who lives up that way.

Wow, that over 15 posters from Maryland. Coolness. :cool:

I wasn't planning on going to AnimeUSA, but that brings up a question I have: did anyone go to the Baltimore Comicon this last weekend? I meant to ask before the con, to see if anyone wanted to meet up, but that whole hurricane thing got me a bit sidetracked (with no power for a while there in my area).

Unfortunately, the name doesn't ring a bell... Though I do know a good number of folks who are currently attending UMBC (from my old high school, anyway). ;) I wish I knew some more anime fans around here, actually... Even in college, I haven't really found anyone else with similar interests - though that could be a result of my own school's small size, too. n_n;

I think my sister is for just one day. I'll be spending that time either working on my Dr. Stewart (F-Zero character, fyi) costume for Otakon 2004 or taking care of family buisness. :sweat:

I was born in Maryland. In Salisbury (that's in Wicomico county, right?) :DYup. Or, as my brother once pronounced it, "Wicko-micko" county. :D (For those who don't know, it's pronounced "Why-com-ih-coh". >smiles<)

Yeah, we should all get together. I say we all drive down to OC and party! :D >does a happy dance for no reason<

Ahh, darn. Well, maybe some of ya'll will change your minds. It's worth attending if just for a day. I'm planning on getting a crash space for the weekend there so if anyone was worried about that I'll probably have space.

Anarudel Mills still seems like a good place to meet up for a movie or something. or, you guys could always come to a club meeting. UMBC meets on fridays in lecture hall 3, in the really tall building near the I-95 enterence, from 6-11 starting this friday. College Park meets on Sundays from 5-8 and some of us usually got for dinner after meetings. Hope you guys can make it sometime. :)
