The Purple Pieman is found murdered in his house. Detectives Orange Blossom and Apple Dumpling bring in their chief suspect, Huckleberry Pie. He's a horny, scraggly opportunist associated with at least 3 criminal figures. Strawberry Shortcake, militant produce advocate; Ginger Snap, Yakuza princess trying to prove herself to her family; and Angel Cake, one-armed and eyed white trash witch with a skunk as her familiar.

The government commissions a number of evil geneticists to create Project CareBears in exchange for immunity. The CareBears go rabid and become deadly to all who cross their paths.

I have sketches of all this- plus some rough doodles of the get along gang that could almost pass as McFarlane toys
