For some strange reason, I'm interested in how all you found out about the great TZ. I know it's very popular now, but how did you find out? I found out through a friend "Zarius" (banned), I talk to him sometimes on another site, and he told me in October 2002, and I finally joined around 3 months later.

So?? How Did you find out about it

The first TZ-related site I ran across was Jon Cooke's LT/MM site. After that I fund the forums through a link and joined September 12, 2002. I'm two days away from my first anniversary at TZ forums. :)

I stumbled across Toonzone after searching for Toonami related info a couple years back I found Jeff Harris’ site (now called The Bridge), and one day ended up in the Toonami forum. I lurked there everyday for as long as I can remember. When it finally dawned on me that TZ had other forums, I started reading those and then finally joined.

A friend of mine (you know her as Avran) from like.. so many years (I met her via a wrestling site. We've been in contact ever since, even though I have no intrest in wrestling anymore). She told me a bit about this site, so I decided to join, having my iMac screw up on me from time to time when I come here. I was gone for over a year due to circumstances that warranted into a huge fight, which made me leave. I didn't know that I was going to be gone for so long.

I came back about a year and a month after my long absence, and I plan not to leave ever again.

A little while after Adult Swim started airing I went online searching for Adult Swim websites. One of which I found was "Adult Swim the Fansite." That brought me to the Adult Swim boards and I noticed there were several other boards too. So... I decided to join.

This November will be my third aniversary. :D

Well I also sort of did the same thing, but i really found this place after I searched for another board that would seems a bit more friendly then what EZboard has done to me, and well, I finily registered sometime in Janurary 2002, and now here I am being here as I can trying to get along with this board, certianly making new friends like Tim and Rune of coruse, :) and just posting along to make sure I am kept on the ball with the latest info.

When I was looking up news on Cartoons (to be more precise, Adult Swim) the search had this site on it. After clicking on it, life has never been the same. To be more dramatic.

I read Jeff's articles for a LONG time then one day when I was exploring his site I ACCIDENTLEY clicked on the "forum" button. Which in turn led me to the Toonami boards, flash foward a couple months I figure out there is a video games board, couple weeks went by, and read some more forums. All this, and still reading Jeff's articles, I've been a guest for over a year now, and finally decided to join only a couple months ago.

I think I first came here when the poster Dub (he's still around here) got his Chip and Walter comic hosted by Toonzone. At that time, one of the boards here was the place to discuss the comic, so me and a few other guys from another board came here and registered to mainly discuss it (though I went to other boards as well).

Nowadays, the board for his comic is off of the main Toonzone forums (it's in Animated Diversions), and most of the guys that came with me have left, I think, but I liked this place so I decided to stick around. :)

Yup, same here. Back then there just 5-7 boards. I don't really remember what they were. I remember there was an RPG board where members played a character from a show. I think the Batman, Superman, and BB were separte boards before and then they were combined together. They also had a General Animation and Facfic board as well.

Those were good times. Because WF was not as huge as Toonzone, it felt a little more homely but change is good. I wonder what happen to Crazy8s. She was a huge contributer back at WF. I've seen her post a few times when WF moved to Toonzone, but she has pretty much disappeared.

My origins here lie in the Batman: the Animated Message Board. DG created one for Batman Beyond (the first I believe), and then made a Batman, Superman, MIB, and Invasion:America. Then, many mutations later, here we are. Of course, I did have a different name back then, but it's still me.

I was looking for a Toonami site and I stumbled onto CNX. A short while after that I went to the old CNX Boards but decided that they sucked so I clicked on hosted sites and found ToonZone. Or something like that.

Blame TimTwoface for my presence here. :p I had been a suscriber to his "Batman: The Animated Newsletter" for some time, when he included a link to this website, asking people to come vote in the "Best B:TAS episode" poll. I came here and voted, and have stuck around ever since.

I also use to hang out at the "World's Finest" boards, and so I was like, "Ooooh...so this is where all the World's Finest message board users went to!"

Couple of years back I used to run a little (read 'basic') message board on Bravenet for the eddzone and it was visted by 'Duncanzits' (I'm sorry but I can't recall his nick on here now) and he mentioned TZ, I came, looked and lurked but didn't join, then came back when my friend Spikejet mentioned TZ which is when I joined last year

The first TZ site I've heard of was Jon Cooke's Censored Cartoon Page. It was so interesting and a little saddening seeing all the cartoons I've watched as a kid and reading the stories of how and why they were censored. What made me join TZ was when Dr. Belch (anyone remember him?) was talking about how Time Squad had a parent dynamic on it and I joined to try and find him and tell him that I noticed that stuff too.

My story is actually very similar to Skarr's.

I, looking for Cartoon Cartoon info, searched for it and stumbled upon the now-defunct CCF: The Fansite. That site later led me to ToonZone, where I discovered the news page and The Bridge, CNX at the time. I was an active member at Nickdisk at the time, and ToonZone was a constant news source. Soon, I started to explore the site and became a lurker on the last week of July. I continued to post at the BBBoy forums, but my interest on Nickelodeon was fading away, Nickdisk was slowly starting to die after the administrator left, and the other forums I visited were decaying rapidly. I finally joined ToonZone Forums on September 30, 2002, along with my Nickdisk buddy, dacp3, who joined around the same time. By the end of November of the same year, I pretty much stopped all visits to the BBBoy forums. I continue to discover many things in this community and site, the latest being Animated Diversions and the wonderful High Score by the incomparable Matt Wilson.

I posted there and finally discovered there were more boards to post at;) and starting posting at some other boards as well. Nothing too spectacular.
