A new week has just begun, and the new poll is up for this Friday's Cartoon Network "Last Bell" Wild Card.
The choices this week: Billy and Mandy, Johnny Bravo, or Totally Spies.
And here's the URL:
http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/watch/specials/lastbell/index.html
Last Friday's choices: PPG, Scooby-Doo Where Are You?, and Samurai Jack.
Winner: Samurai Jack (and some good eps, too!)
PeppeRaskell 1
"Choose Wisely..."
Johnny Bravo. Just so all the damn Totally Spies fans can shut up. They're worse than adultswim.com's message boards.

Billy and Mandy.
It's a great show with some comedy in there too.

Billy & Mandy. I hope they show the Son of Nergal episode. Junior is so cute. :p

I wish they would give more options, but I would say Billy and Mandy. Totally Spies is on enough as it is, and I've seen most of the JB's enough for 3 lifetimes.
They're still funny though. I'll vote for B&M now, just because you can see Bravo elsewhere, often.
Corrado
09-08-2003, 06:34 PM
For me, Billy and Mandy.
I chose Johnny Bravo, I don't like TS and lately B&M has been overplayed with such little episodes
I chose Johnny Bravo,
I have no idea when the last time I saw an episode of that was.
(I hope they'll have sheep for the poll)

New week, new choices this week for this Friday's "Wild Card" marathon!
Don't be put off by the Johnny Bravo/Totally Spies/Billy silhouettes, this week's choices are:
Codename: Kids Next Door
Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?
Evil Con Carne
Choose wisely!

I Pick Robot Jones this time

Also, im sure everyone know's why there are so many anime fans disliking TS, its probably because they dont want TS takings its place, if thats not the reason then i have no clue what is.. and they also dont want it to become apart of Toonami, hehe after that thread flame-war, im sure of it!

I'm an anime fan and I like Time Squad, but because TS isn't majorly popular like Robot Jones and KND, I don't think it'll be on the Friday Last Bell marathon.

Johnny Bravo. Just so all the damn Totally Spies fans can shut up. They're worse than adultswim.com's message boards.
Now, now... Most of us TS fans aren't psychotically obsessed with the show. Most of us with reasonable likings to it think it's getting a tad overplayed. Don't let one or two incoherent obsessives color your perception of all of us, please.
Personally, I wanna see Robot Jones. It's the spiritual heir to Sheep in the Big City, as far as mishandling. Time Squad would be okay, too; I just don't care for Kids Next Door, though.

...Right except it was on wild card day last friday so, it is getting pretty popular. David michel says CN is happy with its high performance! ;)

Another new week, three new choices:
Billy and Mandy
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?
Hamtaro
Last week's winner: Codename: Kids Next Door.

I hope Samurai Jack is one of the picks for this week.

Thanks for reminding me, Corrado! Jack isn't one of this week's "Spitball Picks" (Ick! I like "Wild Card Pick" better), but the three choices are:
a)The PowerPuff Girls
b)Johnny Bravo
c)Sitting Ducks

I voted for Johnny Bravo, because it is the only one of those shows that is watchable to me. "Sitting Ducks" had better not win! Seriously, it is one of the cheap, new shows and is not worthy of the extended block.

...And so, last week, the Friday Wild Card/Spitball Pick was saved, thanks to...
The PowerPuff Girls!
But now, a new week has begun, and three more CN favorites will once more compete for this Friday's Wild Card/Spitball Pick:
Cow & Chicken:narf:
Codename: Kids Next Door*
Johnny Bravo
Will Johnny finally get his turn to hit up on the cute chicks this Friday? Will Cow & Chicken get their big chance, while staying one step ahead of the "Red Guy?" Or will we all be forced to watch another KND mini-marathon?
You make the call!
As always, "Choose wisely...and don't throw shoes, 'Bad Call Bricks," or "pork butts" at the TV if your show doesn't win...":deedee:
However, in the case of KND, you will be permitted to squirt mustard or root beer at the screen. And keep the object-throwing to a minimum, please...:deedee:

This week's Wild Card is
Powerpuff Girls
Robot Jones
Sitting Ducks
Me and my friend voted for Sitting Ducks. :) It's one cool toon.
But I have a feeling there'll be a conspiracy in the poll and the crappy PPG will be on again. The beat out SD and Johnny last time. But Sitting Ducks is on the Last Bell poll for the 2nd time,so we voted. I know it made Camp Cartoon in the summer as the surprise pick,so hopefully it'll be SD this time.
As for Robot,I'm not too fond of the show, but it'd be cool to see that show beat PPG.
Is it just me or is KND getting more hate than love? *LOL* Poor toon.

This is the first one that actually interests me...probably because it has a choice that I like.
I would definitely pick Robot Jones. I have not seen some of the older ones in a while. I bet they probably cut out some of the more suggestive things; remember the poster in the gym or the bowl of fruit? Those things made me laugh so much. :D I hope they don't cut out that shower scene from last week's show.

The same would apply to Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries (over Duck Dodgers anyway). And yeah, I want to see the half hour episodes again. They're some of the best episodes (if not the best) of the series.
Corrado

Happily, "Duck Dodgers" aired today. I just realized that it aired because of "Back in Action."
God knows what would've happened if Baby Looney Tunes was on instead.
Also, rumor has it that next week starting Monday, "Last Bell" is no more replaced by hour blocks of "PPG", "E, E, and E", and a 1/2 hour of "Billy and Mandy."
Corrado
11-17-2003, 06:40 PM
