EDIT: TV-Y? That's a big mistake. Nothing on Cartoon Network is rated TV-Y.
Isn't Pokemon rated TV-Y?

No, it still airs for 10 hours a week on CN.

Pokémon is rated TV-Y7 on Cartoon Network, for some unknown reason.

The first time the Trigun episode "Lost July" was aired, it started out as TV-G or TV-Y or something, and a few minutes later a new TV-PG or TV-14 rating came up. It was pretty funny, especially considering that it happened soon after a cleavage-bearing woman appeared on screen.
Also, the last episode of the first season of Yu Yu Hakusho (when it was still on Adult Swim) first aired as not only TV-Y, but with an e/i logo in the corner (educational/informative)!

Hasn't "dam" always been acceptable on TV-Y7? ;)

"Kill" I beleave is also suttible for Y7 (Used quite a few times in digimon, by both sides I might add, in all three series (I saw)).

It's one of the mistakes in putting the rating up for an episode that happens sometime. A mistake you'll never see happen: An episode accidentley getting a TV-MA rating.

I think it went something like this in Digimon.
Kill: 25
Destroy: 400
Delete:1000
Hurt:226666
Bannish to my dungeon in the Digital World:1
Watching Saban come up with new ways to cover up death: Priceless

We all know that the next episode is slightly more intense than this one... but what kind of rating are we looking for here? I mean, sure, it's got a teensy bit of gunplay, but personally I think that's more than offset by the inclusion of an amusement park, and the cuddly creatures within.
And... does anyone else find the laughter in the episode preview for the upcoming episode infectious?
