tis an oddly phrased question indeed....but...erm..well,I'll try,....

Toonami didn't make Kenshin.....or,how about........um...it was shown on toonami early on cause...it was more of a popular segment?

Kenshin had been rerunning, and showing the 'Best Of' would (hopefully) garner more interest for the next week of new episodes. Also, some of the 'Best Of' episodes where the ones with the Oniwaban group (with Aoshi included), which people may have needed to be reminded of before the next arc. The 'Best Of Kenshin' may have also been a ratings stunt- (CN executive speaking, figuratively) Y'know, these are the best episodes, so you ought to watch them, and give us more ratings. :p

Kenshin hadn't gotten transfered to SVES yet, so it was shown on Toonami, where it had originally started showing. Also, I'd say, that once a week would've been bad for 5 'Best Of' episodes (reruns) of Kenshin..
