It appears that the Big O is doing very well. Would anyone support the creation of new episodes of the following shows on AS from their exsiting episode base:
Family Guy
Futurama
Dibert
Baby Blues
Also, how about there favorites:
Thundarr The Barberian(The 1980 TV show expanded from 21 episodes to 60+)
Johnny Quest(the 1964 Series expanded to 50 episodes in the old style animation format)

Most of us (myself included) support new episodes of "Family Guy" and "Futurama", but the financial cost required to make just one episode of these series alone makes the chances a tad slim (though not impossible).
"Dilbert" never was on Adult Swim, and I'd rather "Baby Blues" die.
And why the hell do you want Adult Swim to expand "Thundarr the Barberian" and "Johnny Quest" when they obviously don't fit the AS protocol?

If I remember correctly it's stated in the Comic-Con transcript that they are working on getting new episodes of Family Guy created.

The unaired episodes of Baby Blues, and possibly new episodes. :)
(But it's HIGHLY unlikely now. )
And I'm also hoping for new FG and Futurama episodes.

There are chances for new Episodes of Futurama (and espically Family Guy) but don't expect any other AS acqusition (besides of course Big O) to get any new episodes anytime soon.

Perhaps he's referring to having these shows get the Space Ghost (and Harvey Birdman) treatment, or perhaps to make more adult episodes of them. But there's really no need. The Venture Brothers (coming in 2004) is easily the Adult Johnny Quest you would want, and just pretend that the new adventures of He-Man on CN is about Thundarr, and it's adult. That will help, trust me.

Based on the way he described them, I doubt it. Adultswim.com message boards refugee?
But I would have no problem with that very thing happening provided that Williams Street picks up Captain Sturdy as a series.

I ment to say that the creation of new shows as extention of class cartoon format. I certainly don't want to see them degraded into the current space ghost/harvy birdman segment that are currently shown on Adult Swim. How I miss the classic Space Ghost and Birdman cartoon shows of the 1960's. I won't mind seeing a comeback classic 60's program as a serious TV show. Not a comedy.

Classic? Don't make me laugh. The original Space Ghost and Birdman(like most post 1960 Hanna Barbera shows) sucked. Big time. The reason Adult Swim parodies shows like them and Sealab is because of how crappy they were. They were so cheezy and stupid it was laughable.
Yes, they were awful....but with WS's j33h4x0ring ski11z0rz they could probably recycle them into something actually entertaining (teh gasp) and serious (O_OMG).

The show's original...."quality" (if you can call it that)...aside....the shows just don't belong on AS. At all.
Family Guy and Futurama are both possible.
Baby Blues is a long shot at best.
Dilbert is CC, so it ain't gonna happen.

I think AS should make more AS Originals(Such as Sealab 2021 & Aqua Teen Hunger Force).

Is it too soon to make another unstable thread?

The first rule of Unstable Thread is that you can't talk about Unstable Thread.
It just happens, like the wind.

Yea. The future of Unstable Threads in general are....currently being questioned.
And with that comment, I'll just end this here.
